Esquire Magazine calls our 90 Minute I.I.PA., "perhaps the best I.P.A. in America." An Imperial I.P.A. brewed to be savored from a snifter. A big beer with a great malt backbone that stands up to the extreme hopping rate. This beer is an excellent candidate for use with Randall The Enamel Animal! 90 ibu

Easily one of the best IPA aromas Iíve ever encountered - has the citrus of Bellís Two-Hearted, but with a great malt backbone as well. Also hints of pine, floral notes, and perhaps a bit of candi sugar. All of this without being overpowering. I sniffed this beer for several minutes before finally sipping it! Head is absolutely fantastic, and the bubbles of lacing are everywhere consistently. So far, living up to the hype - now, will the taste? Full-bodied, sweet, creamy, smooth, hops coming in at the finish. Full-flavored, and yet so SMOOTH! Sweet malts and hops last full well after each sip. Very close with Ruination, but I think I have to give this the edge overall - itís a clear victor in aroma, and it compares equally, or almost equally, well in all the other facets. Geez, I wish this was available at my local - had to special order this, and I just have four bottles! Must! Savor!

355ml bottle from Saveur Biere. Bottled 07/09/14.

Clear orange colour with a big white head. Caramel, alcohol, sweetness, fruits. Nice but probably lost the best shape already.

Floral aroma with notes of malt and lychee. Clear copper colour. Sweet butterscotch front with flavours of orange, bourbon, and cereal; mild bitterness with quick finish. Medium body with mild carbonation. That is a really tasty beer.

Chilled 12 oz bottle from local supermarket. Have been on the West Coast in the Bay Area for 6 months and said would never buy an East Coast brew coz it would not be needed. But tried thus today. Outstanding, as others have remarked a great balance between malt and hops. This is truly one of the greats of US craft brewing. Would love to try on draught.

@Pegulier pub (NYC) golden, misty with a full off-white head. nose: a lot of hops chocolate, spices. taste: caramel, chocolate. bitter sweet, bit dry. soft body, small in carbonation. good full MF. probably one of the strangest "IPAs" I ever had. Imperial indeed. crossover.

Bottle from ABC. Pours a perfect, shimmering golden amber with a frothy white head and ample lacing. Smells of floral, citrus, herbs, with an earthy backbone and some lingering malt. Flavor is bitter and somewhat sweet throughout. Full bodied, creamy, and smooth on the finish; taste lingers, and it is wonderful. A long time, all-time favorite. Acquire.

Sampled from a bottle at O'Hare Terminal 5. Darkish golden colour with a white head. Malty aromas. Intense flavours based around a really solid malt taste, with tangerine, banana, dried fruit and spices all there. Extreme bitterness. I found too much intensity in this complex beer. Not easy to drink, but I can appreciate the craft that went into it.

Aroma of intense citrus and pine waft out from the orange sudsy pour. The taste is quite a good balance of hops and malt. Very good

Absolutely stunning beer. Crisp and fresh, with a flavor that lasts. The color is perfect, and its scent is mouth watering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Copper. Grapefruit, honey, sugar aroma. Big malty taste that changes to bitter grapefruit with a surprising clean finish. This is a big one with decently hidden alcohol. One of the best from dfh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
