Esquire Magazine calls our 90 Minute I.I.PA., "perhaps the best I.P.A. in America." An Imperial I.P.A. brewed to be savored from a snifter. A big beer with a great malt backbone that stands up to the extreme hopping rate. This beer is an excellent candidate for use with Randall The Enamel Animal! 90 ibu
Tasting Notes: Brandied fruitcake, raisiney, citrusy.
Food Pairing recommendations: Pork chops, beef, grilled fish, frites, focaccia, split pea soup, Stilton cheese & escargot.

Great IIPA, nice strong hops, can at times feel a bit too raisiny or fruity but that’s rare. Overall I’d highly recommend this brew. Just take it slow because they can creep up on you fast

clear orange to amber colour, moderate sized slightly yellowish off-white head;aroma of pine, tropical fruity notes, biscuit (Scottish shortbread), slight citruses, maybe some minimal earthy yeasty notes, hints of floral notes and hones, as well as some caramel; taste of malty-syrupy sweetness, pine, tropical fruits, and biscuit notes; heavy sweetness and at the same time intensive bitterness - marvellous IIPA!

One of my favorite beers. Great mix of malts and hops to create one of the best IPAs in the world. Great aroma and incredible taste.

Draft pour at Logan Arcade into snifter. An intense blend of pungent, resiny, oily hops along with an oh-so-sweet malt profile. Big in flavor and big in mouthfeel - there is a stickiness here that clings to your palate.

On draft at dogfish head alehouse in falls church it is a clear golden color with a white head. The aroma is citrus and the taste is strong bitter flavor of citrus that lingers on the palate

Fairly clear orange-amber colour with thin white head. Grapefruit upfront on the nose with perhaps some other fruits such as banana and mango too. Kinda grassy and floral. Taste is great. Strong biscuity backbone which combines well with the oily profile and alcohol warmth. More richly sweet than a regular IPA, but the bitterness and carbonation levels balance this one out nicely.

BOTTLE 355 ML from CH-303, 6 months old. Look: clear copper, off-white creamy head. Aroma: rich dark honey sweetness, the hops are not that intense, but still pleasant: fruity, some resin and fresh hoppy notes. Some alcohol spice. Taste: very sweet, honey, fruity marmalade, the moderate bitterness fails to balance out the sweetness. Zesty notes in the finish.

Among the finest American Imperial IPAs, and, perhaps the best one that is widely available (depending on how one defines that). Maltier and stickier than the usual "west coast style" that dominates this category (e.g., Green Flash, Stone, Russian River). I personally prefer the drier WC style but 90 minute just works, undeniably. Piney hops and caramel sweetness on the nose. Orange amber with a hint of red in appearance. In taste, a first sharp wave of hops, followed by a sweet, sticky, candied apple center, finished with a clean rush of more hops. A delicious treat to be savored at 9% abv. A classic, defining the maltier end of this style.

Bottle from Winooski Beverage Warehouse... Aroma: caramel, pine, grapefruit. App: clear orange with nice frothy head. Taste and palate: full bodied, medium sweetness with dry bitter finish. Carbonation is light. Overall: another great beer from DFH. I’m not a great fan of malty IPA’s but this one is really well balanced.
