Pours a hazy golden sunrise color with a tremendous towering white head that slowly dissipates in chunks leaving a rocky lace and spider webs across the glass. Nose is of fruity esters with notes of banana, clove, bubblegum, and a bit of spicy alcohol. Fairly full in body with a very fine champagne-like carbonation that is oh so smooth. Taste begins with a good deal of fruitiness (nectarine, pear, peach, mango, and white grape) and flowery honey blended with peppery clove. Next comes some powdery yeasts and a bit of bready malt followed by a touch of drying alcohol

Aroma: yeast, sour, caramel, hay, flowers. Appearance: hazy pale gold, medium creamy white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: light sweets continue, some light bitters lingering in the background, nice balance, malty sweets, bread, caramel, low carbonation. Overall: fantastic Abbey Tripel, well balanced aroma and palate. Bottle from Drinks of the World Zurich HB, Switzerland.

This is nice, they brew some mighty fine Belgian style ales in Canada. Aroma of apricot, dough, hay, lemon, spices, and nutty yeast. Pours cloudy straw-gold with a nice, creamy, white head that leaves lacing. Complex, interesting flavor that is overall dry but very fruity and well balanced. Has elements of earth, nuttiness, tart/sweet/sour, and peach. Medium to full bodied, slick texture, lively carbonation, and dry finish. I really like this, would repeat.

Bottle. Light golden pour with a big foamy head. Floral, citrus, bread, spice, yeast. Light to medium carbonation with a medium body. Initially slightly citrus and bready with fruity and bready finish. Pretty good

Despite the odd odor this beer tastes superb. It sits rather heavy though. This might be a great meal-replacing beverage or FIRST beer. I had trouble finishing it after a meal and another beer. I put this beer in the Kwak category which to me means "unique, great tasting, high octane beer."

Hazy light gold color with a large foamy white head. The nose is of fruity and musty yeastiness. First sip is sugary & fruity - apricot in particular. The sweet taste is in command, but the beer is balanced enough. Caught some nutmeg aroma.

The 9% worried me and I expected a thick, malty experience. It really is magic. It tasted light with a tiny hint of pineapple somewhere. I don’t like fruity beer, but this really worked. A lovely warm buzz after finishing a big bottle. If you had time for one beer before the end of the world, this would be it.

Pours a hazy light gold from the tap. Big, foamy white head that holds for a bit. Smells of hay and fruit. Nice blend of apples and pears hits the tongue, with a touch of white grape. Smooth, crisp mouth. This is an excellent tripel that is light and refreshing.
