Bons Vœux (Good Wishes) is a blond high fermentation beer , re-fermented in the bottle. Founded in 1970 , this beer was offered earlier this year to the most loyal customers of our brewery ( hence the name "With the best wishes of the brewery Dupont "). The success this beer earned lead to it being made commercially, while retaining its original name. Although very popular, it was brewed in limited quantities, the bottles reserved many months in advance. A coppery blond beer with aromas of hops for the Bon Voeux is a beer tasting combining mellow bitterness and fruity. Our selection of yeasts and a long maturation phase with hopping gives it flavor and a characteristic and complex taste. The true fermentation in the bottle , which can be extended very long in your cellar, resulting in a balanced and harmonious beer, surprising and complex aromas .

Cloudy golden colour, some white head;aroma of yeast and sourish/sweet fruits with some well hidden alcohol; marvellous taste of citric sourness and hoppy(maybe a bit grapefruit) bitterness with spicy flavours and minimal alcoholic sweetness; dry aftertaste; perfect beer on tap at Csakajósör - many thanks to the owner!

Fantastisch biertje. Fris, licht zoet en ook een beetje bitter. Het schuim drinkt heerlijk. Mooie matgele klaverhoning kleur. Hoe meer ik drink hoe dieper de smaak is.

1.5 litre bottle from the LCBO. Pours a clear clear golden copper. Very carbonated, massive white head that dissipates quickly, not too much lace to speak of. Nose is A typical Belgian, sweet, quite a bit of booze. Tastes rather hot, dry, a little crisp biscuity malt and hop bitterness.

Bottle, 375 ml from Magic Beer Room, Zagreb. Pours unclear yellow, white head. Yeast particles floating inside. Spicy, malty, light citrus, quite yeasty. Not bad, but expected a way more.

Orange slightly hazy beer with big white cloudy head leaving lacing. Aroma is yeasty, pale malty, tart and toffeey sweet. Flavor is yeasty, fruity and malty. Palate is full and foaming in the mouth. Finishes with mild bitterness, maltiness, yeast and alcohol. Pouring in the yeast makes the beer hazy and adds peppery yeastiness. Perhaps not in the freshest possible form, the maltiness is quite harsh and almost cardboardy.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Poured into a Duvel glass. Pours a hazy golden color with a huge soapy mountain of a head that dissipates but never fully disappears. Very nice saison nose with Dupont yeast, cinnamon, nutmeg, peach, apple and booze all present on the nose. Taste is fairly similar with peach really standing out along with some muscat as it warms up. Medium to slight full body with average carbonation. Finish has strong notes of honey and is slightly warming with the booze quite noticeable in a christmas/new year’s seasonal beer kind of way. Finish is fruit-forward but dry with some sweetness from the honey and some lingering bitterness.

Nagazowanie średnie do wysokiego.

Pours slightly hazy pale straw with two fingers of rocky white head, excellent retention and lacing. (5/5) Nose is complex: floral and herbal, lemon, pine, dank, cheese, vinous notes. (8/10) Taste is mild to moderate sweet, mild bitter and tart. (8/10) Medium body, lively carbonation, medium duration finish with a little lingering alcohol warming. (4/5) Quite happy to get my hands on a relatively limited release beer like this for my 1000th unique on Untappd. Interesting and complex, with a flavour profile that compares to wilds or spontanales, but the strong Dupont yeast character keeps things in line. The vinous notes make it seem like champagne to toast my (dubious) accomplishment. Cheers! (16/20)
