Botle 330ml. Pours black with a creamy long lasting head, with nice texture. Aroma of mocha (duhh), like mocha chocolate you can get in Norway. Taste is nice and mixed, taste of roasted malt, nice alcoholy end - helps to bring out a bitterness. Nice finish, hard for me to put a finger on it.. A beer up there, thanks! :)

Huge thanks to Paul for this. Pure black coloured pour mid dark tan head. Aroma is spicy coffee, roast, burnt toast, dark berry, strawberry. Flavour is uber smooth, choc roast, berry, roast, little sweet. Palate is velvety, smooth, moderate carbonation, uber smooth. Suburb.

Negra densa, como el petroleo, espesa. Mezcla de tres stouts brutales, la cuvee delphine, una black albert madurada en recipientes de cafe colombiano y otra en barricas de bourbon. Dos dedos de espuma ocre que desaparece pronto pero nunca del todo, dejando aspecto de buen cafe. Aroma complejo, claramente de café, y mucho más. Chocolate negro. Textura muy cremosa. Por lo demas todo un licor de café. Y no solo eso, coco, chocolate, madera... Muy compleja y especial. Imprescindible... Para ciertos momentos.

from la Mise en Bière - hazy black beer with no foam left; roasted aroma with notes of mocha, chestnuts and molasses; full-bodied and with a solid sweetness, quite sticky, fairly bitter and a long roasted coffeish and spicy finish; long notes of molasses, black chocolate and black cherries, some residual sweetness, warming alcohol and woody notes . impressive

Black color with a creamy tan head with good duration. Aroma has notes of ripe dark fruits, toasted malts, light coffee and some barrel notes. Flavor is slightly sweet, strong coffee with black chocolate, ripe fruits, mainly plumbs and raisins. Creamy, light sweet and coffee final with a mild duration.

Black with a creamy dense brown head. Aroma is roasted, chocolate, and acidic cherry like notes. Taste is medium sweet dark sugars and berries, acidic fruity notes. Dry finish with some sweetness and acidic fruity notes. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Lacks coffee notes but the acidity (infection) works quite well, more like an cherry infused imperial stout.

On tap at a bar in Germantown of Louisville some time after we left Sergio’s on December 26. I’m going to start this review by saying I’m pretty sure this was the bottom of the keg, and I really don’t think this is typical of this beer. The pour is a dark brown, lots of sediment. It’s almost like a glass of pure mud. There is no head and no lace. The aroma comes off a little fruity. There is a light sour bit to it, and it’s just not really good. The roast is drowned out as well and I’m not getting any mocha. The flavor is very similar. There is a little whiskey on the back end, but that’s about the whole difference. The mouth feel is a little light and it’s very flat. Just a couple of bubbles of carbonation that let the mud slide right off the tongue. The aftertaste is really fruity and sweet. I hope I might get to taste this again, this time without all of the sediment and as the beer was intended.
