COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Black Damnation series is a dark twist of Urbanís mind. His idea is to realize a dozen beers with the use of Black Albert, and over a period of two years, that are as black as hell, filthy rich in the nose and with a massive taste.

Black Damnation II is yet another blend with the use of Hel & Verdoemenis from Brouwerij De Molen. This time a level more complex than BD I. 50% of Black Albert was used that matured for a while on whole coffee beans out of a craft Columbian coffee plantation. 25% of H&V was used that aged for 6 months on JD barrels at Struise. Another 25% of Cuvťe Delphine was used.

Beware: labels are the same, taste however isnít. Some bottles are recognizable because of he handwritten 2 on them.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2012 22$ Bottle ordered from belium website. Pours a velvety oily smooth dark molasses with some orange red hues on the top and bottom. Big fat aromas that grab your nosey attention of coffee beans enjoying the company of burnt malts, chocolate, wood, slight hint of whiskey, and brown sugar. The flavors, Iím just blown away. This is already one of the top coffee stouts Iíve ever had. Thick and oily on the ole grub taster. The coffee really moves over the palate and has a big party inviting his other buddies, burnt mic malty, chocolate sue, Frank Mc woody, Stacy brown sugar, and Sam dark fruity. Very bitter with the mixes of coffee and hops which go mostly hidden as well as the high abv (mostly only though the nose on the way down). Medium sweet and very complex. Worth waiting for but not 20$, Iíd say 10$.

330ml bottle served in a snifter. A: Pours an absolutely oily black color forming a big bubbled and creamy beige head. Good retention but only few lacings left in the glass S: Sweet and roastd malts, mainly, with special touch of wood, dark chocolate and coffee. A bit fruity and a little bit spicy too. Some earthy yeasts. Damn good in the nose T: Just perfect. Slightly sweet upfront. Strong taste of roasted malts, dark chocolate, and coffee. Very woody. A bit spicy. Great bitterness. Excellent bittersweet balance M: Heavy creamy and molasses perfect body. Medium to low carbonation. Bittersweet roasted and coffee aftertaste O: Perfect drinkability. Perfect beer. The best of the three BD Iíve had so far [ BA Review @ 1/21/2013 ]

75cl bottle BB Sep 2018, 13%. Black with a moderate foamy tan head. Aroma is tangy, malty, some chocolate, lightly metallic roast coffee. Nothing too exciting. Body is medium, low-ish carbonation, slightly foamy which makes it a bit chewy. Taste is sweet and milky, nice roasted burnt elements, touch of soy sauce saltiness, background strawberry, port, very ílongí flavour if that makes sense - lasts for ages. Not a great deal of chocolate or coffee. No alcohol coming through. Nice.
