4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottled, 0.50l. Hazy pale golden color with small but thick white head and soft visible carbonation. Outstanding fruity hops aroma, combined with more tropical fruits, citrus and lychee. Taste starts with refreshing citrus, then followed by sweet tropical fruits and light spicy maltiness, while finish is very hoppy. Full body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Unforgettable aroma...

Bottle at home. Low fluffy lasting white head. Clear amber body. Sweet fruity malt aroma, pretty weak though. Flavor likewise pretty mild and weak fruity malty but with a nice dry and acidic grapefruit finish. Low carbonation. Long finish.

Cask - Light sweet grapefruit and some nice tropical fruit. Pale clear gold with no head. Grapefruit and some earthy Notes, with a nice balanced bitterness, Much different than American Citra ales, but quite nice and sessionable.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
500ml bottle from Waitrose.
Small white head, great lacing. Clear golden body. Massive tropical fruity nose, lychee, grapefruit, lemon. Flavour is less in your face but still loads of it, mango, gooseberry and grapefruit. Good malt backbone but hops to the fore. Gentle bitterness on the finish, intensifies as it lingers. Light carbonation, a little oily, good thickness. The Citra really shines here, a great single hop beer.

This is in my top ten of beers if you like IPA style and the APA influence on that style. Great draught in the Wellington in Brum.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Svetle pivo s fantastickou kvetovo citrusovou vonou a az neuveritelnou horkostou. Moje prve s chmelom Citra a musim povedat ze ma velmi oslovilo. Svetlo zlta farba, cista a iskriva. Penu moc netvori co vnimam ako jeho jedine negativum.
Chut vyvazena s vyraznou horkostou. Citra je rozhodne zaujimava odroda chmelu a toto pivo tazi z toho ze ju nemiesa s inymi odrodami a nechava ju vyniknut. Naozaj podarene letne pivo.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
This has always been a go-to beer for me when I have to go to a certain Supermarket. It’s a really nice golden colour, decent white head too. Aroma is of lychee, lemon, lime and tropical fruits. Taste is a massive hit of citrus and with a nice fruity middle and decently bitter finish. It’s really brilliant when cold, but also top notch when on cask (it’s a permanent fixture at the Wellington in Birmingham) A stonking British beer from an excellent brewery.
