This Imperial India Pale Ale Rocks... Hardcore! But donít feel obliged to take our word for it, this little bottle has a grandiloquent story to tell.
2,204 malted Maris Otter grains gave all they had to offer the world to provide the robustly delicate toffee malt canvas for the ensuing epic.
4 Hop Cones willingly sacrificed themselves in fiery cauldron that is our brew kettle to ensure your mouth is left feeling punished and puckering for more.
9,900,000,000 yeast cells frantically fermented their little hearts out as the sugars were magically turned into alcohol in the dark depths of our fermentation tanks.
2 humans and 1 canine companion are relatively happy with the results
Note this is for the new petrol blue coloured labels with white lettering, which is 9.2%. Ratings for the older bottles with with bright blue label and black lettering should go under the first edition.

Bottle, thank you Colin and Kendra. Pours a deep orange, nice sized white head. Huge fruity hop aroma plus alcohol. Taste is spectacular - all I could ask for in a over the top yet somehow balanced hop attack - thank you Centennial and Simcoe - two of my favourites - and malt body. Stunningly drinkable yet so flavorfoul - one of the pure tastiest beers I have ever had. This is right up there folks with any double IPA you are likely to have. For me, it might just be the finest.

Pours a cloudy orange with a short tan head diminishing gradually to a thin skim, spotty lacing. Nose is pine resin and citrusy hops, caramel malt, some dark fruit. Taste leads out malty and sweet, giving way to a lingering piney bitterness. Medium oily/creamy body, low carbonation, and a lingering finish. Iíve had worse... Iíve had better... Itís certainly not bad, but itís got that malt-forward character that I donít prefer in an IPA, let alone a DIPA. Itís not overly sweet, but Iíd like it better if it were less so, and led out with hops instead of malt. Bottom line: not my preference, but I can see the attraction.

Poured from a 33cl bottle. Clear amber coloured beer with no head at all. Smells fruity. Aromas of caramel and toffees are very remarkable. Resin hops are present as well. Fruity notes are all over the place, especially in the nose. Full body, oily (creamy) texture, average carbonated. Gives a warm mouthfeel, but the alcohol is masked very well. Beer appealing to all senses. Well balanced and dangerously good. Malty and very sweet in the beginning, spicy and mildly bittersweet towards the end, with a long fresh bitter yet fruity aftertaste. Maybe a bit too strong to an IPAís likings, but I liked it. Would love to have another bottle. Great brew. Do not drink it, but sip it. Do not drink too cold as well, it will get better and better only.

Hazy amber with a relatively thick white head. Aroma is heavy citrus hops with notes of toffee or caramel. Flavor is very hop forward with a little burn in the back end. A bit sweet after the hops and not badly balanced. Quite good. Wife 3.8

Very fresh bottle. Palate is very good to outstanding. Bitterness blends in well with fruit power leaving a salivating mouth from hops and wanting more. Very well balanced drinking after brewdog Jack Hammer and good progression.

--- Dirty Google traduction :-) Beautiful IPA, bitterness and power, I love it! Beautiful red dress, pronounced agrums flavor that is found in the tasting ... The bitternessp is there, but not aggressive, it brings the whole brevage. My first Brewdog and I like !

33cl bottle, purchased at Tesco. Dark amber with a medium head which dissipates after a couple of minutes. Lively, good carbonation. Aroma of citrus and pines. Very bitter to the taste - heavy grapefruit.

Amazing aroma, one of the best aromas of any hoppy beer. Strong flavours and bitterness - delicious but I canít drink a lot of this. If you like your hops this is a great offering. Shared bottle at Plonk.

Nice IPA-bitter aroma, amber colour with almost no cap. Rich taste with strong sweet notes o the first half of tongue and reamining bitterness on its root,

Bottle. A little too old to be at its best but it still packs a punch. Would like to try it again fresh.
