Ok, this is beer? I am drinking, ’a beer’, this is a ’beer’, Just getting my head around this one..... it’s 0 alcohol, but it tastes AMAZING, its fruity, its sweet, its beery, its mellow, its wheaty, its a belgian wit, but with NO alcohol. Non alcoholic lagers and bitters always fall down on taste, this one? £2 for 6? my night is sorted. This is actually the best beer i’ve tasted for a while, and when I say a while, I mean, A WHILE, (check the last time i rated a beer, 4 years? hello.). And if it’s not gonna give me a headache, nor make me smash any windows, at £2 for 6, £4 for 12, £8 for 24?? I think I just found my new evenings entertainment, for 1/4 the cost 4x the taste and 0 the alcohol. Absolutely delicious. ++to Bavaria, whoever you are.

250 ml bottle bought at CitySuper in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Translucent pear juice colour with no yeast sediment; Less than one-quarter finger head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 15 seconds; Fair sticky lacing with zero carbonation; Fragrant aroma of light malt, with strong wheat and tartness, coriander, spices, oranges, sugar, yeast, lemon and faint grass; Mid to light sweet taste of light malt, with light wheaty tartness, lemon soda, molasses notes, light spices and yeast; Light body. Thin and crisp palate; Mouth Feel is light maltyness in a watery background. Fair wheat presence and light tartness. Nice lemon soda all round, sweetness is rather low, with bits of spices and yeast. No obvious hops but also no horrible woody dusty off-taste associated with alkohofrei. Easy and nice!... Hoppiness is lemon and faint grass in nose, and lemon soda in taste; No bitterness at all, just low sweet wheaty finish; Slightly dry after taste. Very easy to mouth.

Comments: For this “frei” wit I was preparing for the worst, so I am genuinely surprised how easy and nice it tasted. Much of the Witbier characters remains intact, with spicy citrusy aroma and taste, a not too heavy body, and a touch of sweetness makes it a joy for Summer. Will buy again!

As a non alcoholic beer it’s really nice try. Aroma seems not natural but the rest is OK,and the foam is really great with perfect lacing.

BBE 02-2017. Haalean kusiteollksen keltainen väri, olematon vaahto. Tuoksu ylimakean teollinen, riisisen vetinen. maku tuttua ja taattua laimeaa riisivettä, heikko mutta ei toivoton esitys.

Pours a thin white head with distinct lemon, mandarin and marzipan. Hazy light yellow colored body. Light body with lemon taste. No hops, little malt. Easy drinking and as good as a alcoholic whit beer.

Bottle @ Hugos w friends (Don, Pudderl, Fedder & Heidi). Appearance: pours unclear yellow with good creamy white head and lacing. aroma/taste: wheat, orange peel, sugar and some fruity notes. palette: medium yeasty aroma, average to sparkling carbonation, thin to medium body, medium sweetness, somewhat balanced by a light bitterness, average duration and a watery texture. Overall: pretty decent for a 0,0 %

Aroma seems to be artificial, with some strange mint notes. Taste is very weak, does not remind of beer. It is watery, with no bitterness and a slick mouthfeel.

Can, 33cl. Pale, hazy yellow color with foamy off-white head. Coriander, lemon, citrus along the classic and expected wheat, yeast and banana aroma. Very similar taste profile. Bravo! Great stuff for a 0 % alc. Little light bodied, watery palate to be really good. But still not bad at all. Enjoyed after a hard workout.

I rate it like non alko beer as it is. Nice floral aroma coriander and wheat. In taste sweet caramel and little tart. Refreshing and good for drivers
