On tap @ Radio Maria. Medium brown, hazy, copper highlights. Chocolate and caramel dominate the aroma, but the hops take more credit in the palate. A decent hoppy brown.

Unclear Brownish amber. Medium frothy off-white head, lasting with some lace. Malty, bready, caramel, nutty, rusty. Medium to light body, sweet, light citrus, nutty, little dry. Sorta tangy I guess.

malty, earthy, rusty, caramel aroma. oh, very interesting taste. very sweet, like candy. malty finish. starts fairly light, grows. hard to pick out the taste. orange. sour lime candy. creamy. very interesting and good.

65cl, at 7%Vol, new American brew Anno 2010, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex brew, malty/sweet and slightly roasted/fruity, balanced, hazy, good head, good brew, yet expensive!

Bottle. Dark chestnut brown with a small tan good lacing head. Aroma is quite hoppy with floral and fruity notes. Beneath that some roasted malt, nuts, dark chocolate, light ashes, chalk. Taste is medium sweet and medium+ bitter with a light acidic touch. Medium body, oily texture, soft+ carbonation. Medium bitter finish with dark chocolate.

Draft at Barcade, pours deep brown with medium head and lace. Aromas and flavor of brown malt, chocolate, wood, amarillo hops, roast and nuts. Body is medium. Nice brown ale with a hoppy bite.

Pours dark brown with reddish hue. Light tan head with great lacing. Aroma of malts, brown sugar, and light hops. Taste is dark fruit, dark roasted malts, and some hops on the back end. This is one of my favorate brown ales.

22oz bottle. Bottled on 04/2012. Very dark brown, almost black color, light tan foam. Aroma of wooded hops and loads of roasted malts. Flavors of roasted grains, a slight spicy tingle. Follows up with a wooded hop character and earthy hop bitterness, along with the roast notes. A touch of nuttiness. Finishes with a bit of a rye tingle and some floral hops. One of the best Brown Ales I’ve had. Its rich and full flavored!

This is definitly diferent... not like any other thing i’ve had brown or ale... Arome is astounding. Appearance is astounding... that is the end of the good. Taste is like a household cleaner. Palate is like a household cleaner. Overall... a nice smelly householdcleaner with a head.
Reading other reviews... was mine a bad batch sour? I dont know.. but gag.
