A: smoked malts, herbs, grain A: black, deep and foamy T: strong smoked P: mb, low carbo O: 20/20

Draught at Lambrate. Color black with medium creamy head. Aroma roasted, caramel, smoke. Taste caramel, roasted, smoke, chocolate.

Quite watery but nice in aroma and aftertaste. NIce foam too and very itneresting shape.

Draught at the brewpub. Black coloured with a medium sized beige head. Roasted aroma of caramel and smoke. Roasted flavour of caramel and liquorice with notes of smoke. Roasted and smoked finish.

Bevuta a Selezione Birra 2011, Rimini; uno degli ultimi assaggi di cui ho ricordi offuscati e appunti incompleti. La ricordo molto buona e con una affumicatura intensa e particolare.

From bottle at GBBF, day 3 on 3 August 2006. Black and oily. Light, smoky aroma. A little ashy on the palate - a feeling I get with some UK milds. Otherwise it’s a bit stout like. Firm but not particularly powerful. Interesting stuff.

Bottle, 75cl, courtesy of good Danish friends. A clear-looking dark brown beer with a minimal tan head. Smoked, roasted nose with some coffee. Coffee and chocolate in the flavor, rather dry on the palate. Medium body. Lasting finish with the initial flavor. A quite nice one, but a bit one-tracked for my likings. 100814

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2011 Roasted smoked beer, creamy foam. Roasty taste, coffè, bitter & sour and full body. A bit carbonated.
