Our IPA is created from a base of Pale and Crystal malts and is aggressively hopped throughout the brewing process with a final hop addition in the conditioning vessel. A beautiful flowery hop aroma will greet you as you dive into this hop lover’s dream. A middle caramel malt presence balances high hop bitterness with hop flavor end to end... learn to love hops! (Editor’s Note: originally brewed by Humboldt Brewing Company under the name "Humboldt IPA Nectar" until their acquisition by Firestone Walker.)

Pour is an almost clear, slight haze, orange gold light copper.Probably my favorate color for ipa. Creamy short head, leaving creamy froth. Excellent hoppy aroma with floral/fruit /spicevanilla sugar cookie, dank, pungent hop, slight malty carmel.Near perfect.Complex and well rounded aroma.-alot going on. Taste is matched with nice smooth mellow carmel maltiness. Resin.Very creamy texture with nice fresh hop flavor, with a nice mild but pungent bitterness.Very nice hop layering with the mild mellow malt sweetness. This may be my new favorate ipa.Wow this is really, really good. A beer to drink in Heaven(with hummingbirds?) Ha

Bottled from Trick Dog in the Mission in SF. Caramel notes and a darker brown than a typical IPA. On the malty side of west coast hop-bomb IPAs, very tasty. Nice hop character, too. Full-bodied.

Pours clear, dark amber with a thick, frothy and persistent pale buff head. Hoppy aroma has floral and - nectar? - notes plus a hint of malt. Drinkable flavor has hoppy, floral and nectar (or is that just honey?) tones. Texture is smooth and goes down well, though it lacks fizz. Nectar IPA or IPA nectar, down the hatch!

Very heavy hops in this one. Nice citrus and floral character. Overall very good, maybe a little out of balance with the bitterness but definitely still enjoyable.

On tap at Hopjacks. Pours a cloudy yellow with small off white head. The aroma is floral hop and citrus. Thin mouth, sweet honey malt, light citrus, easy to drink, very good.

12 oz bottle: Aroma has got a nice pungent hop note, juicy grapefruit, and a very light malt presence. Appearance is a light amber with a thick white head that lingers around for quite a while. Taste has got a bitter hop upfront with a nice grapefruit note with a light malt characteristic. Palate has got a nice hop texture all the way through. Overall, Decent stuff. Cheers!
