A personal favorite with great smokey flavor. Love everything about this beer. If you don’t like smokey flavor stay away but if you’re like me and enjoy the taste of smokey bacon, enjoy!

Best smoked beer ever... Dark color. Aromas of smokiness, bacon and smoked meat. Taste the same. By far the best smoked beer i ever had.

Pours dark brown-gold with lasting offwhite head. Strong smokehouse aroma. Surprisingly sweet malty taste, together with the aroma it gives the vague impression of glazed bacon. Medium body, soft carbonation. A really unique, strong flavored beer.

Didn’t really enjoy this as much as I thought I would. The smokiness was just too overwhelming for me. It was heavily evident in the aroma and taste. Pour was dark amber with a huge brown head that dissipated rapidly. Body was surprisingly light with a lively but clean finish.

Bottle... Poured a dark reddish/burgundy with a white head. The head dissipated to a lacey presence on the surface. Nose smokey malts, campfire, bacon, smoked pork. A decent amount of carbonation, mild mouthfeel and texture. Some malt sweetness, low yeast characters. Dominant notes of smoke, ash, toasted and smoked grains and vegetables, smokey meats. Clean finish with a residual smoke flavor. Pretty solid.

11/08/2011 500ml bottle. Stappata alla Brasserie 4:20. Color ambrato carico, quasi miele di castagno, con bel cappello di schiuma bianco sporca, non molto persistente. Aroma intenso di affumicato (scamorza, bacon), con note legnose. In bocca è complessa, affumicata, originalissima, molto ben equilibrata. Corpo medio-basso, leggermente "watery", carbonazione bassa. Equilibrio e bevibilità. Grande birra.

500ml bottle. The darkest shade of amber with a short head. Wonderfully smokey aroma. I can’t fault the taste or the moutfeel too much, but despite still laying on the smoke it doesn’t quite grab me as much as the aroma did. I will definitely be back for more smoked beers though.

Deep red pour, off-white head vanished quickly. Aroma of smoke, honey, caramel, bread crust. Medium body, medium carbonation. Very nice crisp clean bitterness in the aftertaste, with smoke and vanilla.
