COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Pasteurised.
This dark golden coloured ale hugs the palate with great intensity. Its malty aroma is complemented by the gentle nose of Banana. Its flavour unfolds with a sensual sparkle and a smart crispness, which balances its aroma perfectly. Tropically fruity; its ripe banana flavour, emphasised by a hint of bitterness, comes from the addition of real fair trade bananas and finishes with an emphatic, steely dryness.

Pours a thin dark golden amber with a thin head the dissapeared quicly. Tasted started off very ale like than the banana flavors finished it off. medium body, slick feel, long finish, interesting beer

Definitely a well-balanced beer. Strong banana flavor, especially in after taste. Though impressive, couldn’t find myself to drink more than one without growing tired of the gimmicky taste. Buy a pack, share with friends.

Wow, very different but they were going for a banana bread taste and they nailed it. The aroma was bananas, malt, and light bread crust. The appearance was a light brown pour with a small tan head. The taste was great, a mix of banana extract, sweetness, caramel, and a dry finish. A light but oily feel on the palate, a bit thin but nicely carbed and it fits the beer. This would be an excellent dessert beer, or something to drink occasionally to recharge your taste buds. The ladies would probably like it also. Well done!

Amber and clear. Strong banana aroma with light spice. Watery body, with banana and mild spice, and maybe a touch of malt.

500ml bottle. pours dark golden amber with a frothy off-white head that dissipates quite quickly into a small rim with minimal lacing. Aroma reminds me of a pumpkin-ale using similar spices. aroma is banana, malt, caramel, minor cloves hops and cinnamon. flavour is initially sweet and quickly turns quite dry and spicy, almost astringent. medium body oily texture with soft carbonation. Exceeded expectations.

11.2 oz. bottle from a mug. Pours a light caramel brown color with a small white head. Aroma is intense true banana. Has the aroma of a warm banana pudding. Really original concept. Taste is much less interesting up front, leading in with a very watery begining. Transitions into a mild banana taste with a bit of spice in the finish. This one is much better in the nose than it is on the tongue...which was really disappointing.

Aroma and taste of banana and candy ..... I really do not understand why people do this kind of beer ... banana flavor perhaps might work in a Belgian wheat beer, but it’s really not working in this ale.

Bright amber color with slightly off white foam head leaving foam on glass. Smells like banana (who would have thought), funny combination of bitter with banana aftertaste. (Galveston 201205)
