English Target hops give this beer a remarkable aroma. Late hopping with Goldings and fermentation by the Brakspear yeast creates a remarkable zesty aroma, a full fruity flavour and a golden colour. Decent head and about the right level of carbonation. Quite orangey aromas of honey and hints of vanilla. Not too bitter in taste an well balanced.

Bottle. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, fruit and hops. Sweet and malty with notes of honey, caramel and bitter hops. Okay bitter with a slightly dry and bitter finish.

Bottle 500ml from Meladel (King&Godfree). Exceptional bitter, with a great nose. Aromas of biscuit, caramel, nuts, and hints of flowers. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and long length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Amber, with a frothy persistent head.

In short: A medium-hoppy citrusy golden ale with some off-flavors
How: Bottle 500ml. Consumed relatively fresh, the day of purchase, almost exactly one year before expiration date.
The look: Almost clear light golden body topped by a small white head
In long: Nose is dank citrusy hops with floral and urine notes. Taste offers basic toasted crisp pale malts, a bit of caramel, oranges, apricots, grapefruits, flower petals. Something “human organic” in the overall flavor profile lowers the score (sweat? urine? other?). Not too sure what to make of this, on one hand the expiration date and bright citrusy hops implied a fresh bottle in good condition, but on the other hand there were some off-flavors that usually means a mishandled bottle. At least the beer is organic, because if there is something I hate it is a beer made with synthetic malts and plastic hops.

Nice craft ale, has a very subtle flavour to it, but lacking a decent finish.
