COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
I have crafted the 2010 Vintage with the highest quality Tipple malted barley for the second year running. This ale’s main hop character is derived from traditional Golding and Fuggles hops and further enhanced with Dry Hopping, using a blend of the choicest Golding and Target hops. Coupled with the unique Fuller’s yeast strain we expect this beer to mature into another ’Classic’ Vintage! 125,000 bottles produced

Cracking open one of my 2010s on a cool October evening. Very pretty copper red poured up in my Duvel glass. Head is quite nice, not too much. Aroma is deep, of dried fruit. Doesn’t really jump out at me though. First sip takes ages to travel down my throat, warming on the way with plummy aftertastes, if you hold your head at the right angle. It’s sweet, but not too sweet. You can tell the alcohol is in there, but at 8.5% it doesn’t dominate. Second sip is just fine. I think I’ll sip a bit more!

#72387. Reddish amber, beige head. Aroma: very fruity, some kind of candy, vanilla, orange. Taste: fruity, earthy, vinous, honey, malty, some raisins. Above medium-bodied. Will be interesting to see how this ages.

Bottle. Weak caramelly aroma. Clear dark amber colour. Almost no head. The flavour is mildly sweet and caramelly. Good warming alcohol finish. Good now, but probably better in a year or two.

Bottled. Not at tis prime yet, this has lots of caramel and malt, yet there is a liberal dose of aromatic hops, too. Some dryness in the finish, alochol.

50 cl bottle. Pours dark amber with a nice white head. Aroma is very sweet and syrupy. Maple syrup, very nice Hungarian akacia honey aroma, caramel, raisins, a hint of oak, nice yeast quality, delicious fruitiness. The yeast reminds me a bit of Hair of the Dog Adam's yeast qualities. A touch of camomile spice. Taste is also very nice - caramel, honey and raisins, slightly spicy and estery, prunes, and a note of orange peel in the end. Slight trace of the hops in the finish. This beer is way better than I had ever imagined. This beer, to me, could be Adam's little brother.

Pours an odd color that is both dark amber and almost brown. A medium sized foamy, off white head sits atop. Notes of licorice, currant candy, caramel, and sweet creme of wheat. Medium thick mouthfeel. Solid.

0.5l bottle # 037085 @ Henrik. This one is a near clear light bronze colored beer with a small heavy sidesticking light bubbly beige head. Lots and lots of cognac at first (when the bottle was cold), but this fades after a while, continues with really sweet caramel and toffee mixed with a good dash alcohol and some red fruits. Immediately quite sweet, but I like it! It tastes quite good this. Lots of woody sweet caramel, some tones of licorice (?), grassy herbs and dried fermented berries. Really nice this one. Long lasting sweet finish and it’s leaving my mouth really dry. Good stuff! 09.03.2012

Bottle #081933: Pours a clear deep copper amber with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a sweet light caramel malty nose with some light fruits and a touch of oxidation. Starts with good fullness and fine carbonation revealing sweet caramel and toffee notes with good grassy bitter hop balance before a drier, smooth bittersweet finish. Well-balanced and fairly complex, but nothing exceptional.
