Wow, this was a really good IPA. I’ve heard a lot of buzz in homebrewing circles regarding Citra hops (sold out a lot of places) and I have to say I didn’t understand the buzz until I tasted this beer. A light orange body that is clear but not brilliant under a soft white head. Aroma is very citrus-y with a lot of pineapple notes. Bitterness is quite apparent but not harsh in any way. This beer has got its IBUs in all the right places to make it extremely drinkable. Mouthfeel was smooth and good. This was a very good beer. I had this on-draft at Rozi’s Wine house in Lakewood.

Pours a hazy dark gold color. Thin white head with some sticky lacing. Tropical fruit hop aroma. A sweet and malty start . A bit of grapefruit and mild pithy bitterness in the finish.

White Rajah has a medium, white head, a semi-opaque, orange-gold appearance, some bubbles, and not so heavy lacing left behind. The aroma is of very citrus-type hop oil and white bread, and the flavor is of the same, with citrus rind and pith. It is not too bitter or sugary. Mouthfeel is medium, and White Rajah finishes mostly dry and mild. RJT

Wowza! This is a tasty treat. Huge citrus bouquet in the aroma and a nice smooth body with a pleasant bitter finish. It is well balanced and crisp and isn’t too boozy for a beer that is almost 7%. I really like it - may be one of my very favorite IPAs.

Tap @ Winking Lizard: Great hop floral and pine balanced aroma. Classic hop flavor and a great beer to finish the night. Another great all around IPA.

Bottle. Pours orange with a thin white head that lingers. Citrus hop aroma over light carbonation. Nice grapefruit and sap flavor, solid complexity for a single. Love the bready finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Erica and Chris. Pours a nice hazy gold with a small white head and decent lace. Great aroma of Pine and Grapefruit explodes out of the bottle upon opening. Flavor strikes a balance between the tropical fruit, citrus and pine notes. There is a lite bitterness at the end. Crisp, fresh, enjoyable.

Tasted from draft. Pours a clear gold with white head. Aroma is citrus fruit and pine. Some grapefruit notes. Flavor is a moderate clean bitterness throughout. Excellently balanced with nice malt backbone. Flavors of grapefruit, orange, pine, caramel, toffee, biscuits. Definitely one of the top IPAs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
