Black body, red hue, light brown head. Aroma is really complex - roasted malt, chocolate, peated and berryful, alcohol and some almondy sweetness. Flavour has much roasted notes and berries, sugar. Little on the imperial stout side, but doesn’t matter. Excellent brew and really well balanced. I liked the way the black raspberry taste came through.

Black colour, white head, yeast particles floating. Aroma of blackberry, coffee, cherry and raisins. Quite sweet flavour, alcohol, (light sour) berries, mushrooms. Light sour finish, coffee, caramel and raisins. One can taste it’s getting older.

Thick, dark brown and a greasy lean. Murkyish. Big up smooshed raspberry, dark choc nose. Decent grind of fruit throughout, dank bit of age but rich and smooth clean rich berry kick throughout. Finishes, slowly berry marshmallow and rich juciy sweetness. Smooth without being overly rich. Whisky has smoothed out. Tremendous.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours dark brown with no head. Aromas of red fruit, booze, almonds, rhubarb, fruit cake, I could get lost in this for a while. Taste is sweet, sherry, boozy, nutty, more red fruits. Thin body, oily texture. Lovely stuff, cheers to Callum!

Dark caramel coloured pour with a lasting cream head. Aroma is some soy sauce, salty, tart fruits, roast, berry and some hot alcohol. Flavour is composed of salty tart berries, raspberry, soy, roast, choc. Bit of age on this one. Palate is full is bodied, oily on the tongue, tart finish.

Bottle at Zly Casy with Ben and Pete. Ben had just come in to some money and was feeling a bit flush. Cheers Ben. This bottle had clearly been here a while. Still tasted good though. Pours Dark Brown with a small cream head. Aroma is very intriguing. Funky raspberry and wood. Quite unusual. Fruity whisky and a quite pronounced raspberry vibe. Still crazy after all these years.

Bottle from the cellar shared at the meatball tasting. Not much carbonation here.... Nose is sweet raspberries and mild tarty cherries with a mild peatiness to it. Rather sweet and dessert like. Taste is damp wood and bright red berries with heavy tart, mild grass and light peat. Cherry tartiness and raspberry sweetness are the focus for sure. A slightly thin mouth feel but it works well. Solid
