12oz into a jelly jar from the amazon. Pours a medium orange, off key, with golden hues prevalent. Taste is sweet, hoppy, spicey, and tangy. Grass, cereal, cereal, some pine and abundant citurs. Color resembles a hefe more so than not, but thats ok. Taste is impeccably IPA, especially how the hops roll down the pallate and stay throughout the after taste. Also, the sweetness carries its own to the nose and then creeps in with the hops following a sample. A gorgeous IPA.

A good beer first and formost. On my initial pour, a very modest white head was produced. It sat atop an orange amber colored beer which was murky and hazy. Aromas are quite nice with the hop bouquet having a floral scent, but also tends to be muddle. Taste is bitter and refreshing with some sweet malts. Some hoppy notes but, again like the nose muddled. An easy drinking good beer that’s sure to please.... but could be better.

Small off white head thats short lived with minimal lace. Hazy, gold color. Faint nose of pine and citrus, oranges, sorta herbal. Light bodied with a bit much carbonation for my liking, lil acidic. Mild hop flavors of citrus, rinds and spicy some how? Light earthiness, dry malts, caramel notes. Finish is dry, more astringent than bitter, fruity. Something of a let down. Props to UDBeernut for the bottle.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks DSG. Pours murky golden with particles, cream-colour frothy head. Candy, nettle and evergreen aroma, unpleasant bitter taste. Light body, soft texture, soft carbonation, long finish. Unbalanced.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of lots of citric and floral hops and light tropical fruits notes. Pleasant hoppy floral flavor with grapefruit and a lingering moderately bitter finish. Medium-bodied. A nice IPA.

Peachy bronze color, decent head. Aroma is indeed hop flowery, a bit of soap, some soft perfume and co-humolone. The body follows a similar thread. Flowery, perfumey, and a touch of musk. Some rose water petals, baby powder, and soap twang on the finish

Bubbly orange with small white head. Aroma a nice refreshing pine forest with flowers. Medium body, carbonation, no alcohol, sort of crisp but yet a little oily. Flavor again the floral and pine hops, not much citrus in this one. Nice bitterness. Minimal malt balance. Solid and distinctive and distinguished.

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2012 Aroma is dry pine, slightly effervescent yeast and a undertone of tropical fruit. The flavor is pine/grapefruit, a strong herbal element and a very dry finish.

On Draught at BAR in New Haven

Pours an orange color with a good but fairly quickly receding head.

The aroma is pungent, dank, and quite hoppy. Lots of nice grapefruit rind and some herbal hops in there.

The flavor is lots of grapefruit a little melon and a bit of red grape. The beer is dry and spicy with not a lot going on in the malt category that I’m picking up (that works out nicely here).

From firkin at the Canal Street Pub. Poured a clear, golden orange, with a fluffy white head. Big sweet, floral aroma, with hints of citrus, grapefruit, and honey. Taste is sweet and floral upfront, with tastes of grapefruit & citrus in the middle, and a moderately bitter finish. Sticky/oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Just a sweet/fruity and floral IPA and I’m glad I finally got to taste this one. Damn tasty.
