Full black body with nice tan head. Aroma of roasted coffee. Taste of roasted malts with coffee and chocolate notes. Bitter and dry finish. A typical stout that was pretty good, if not exceptional.

Bottle. Medium sized fizzy tan head with poor retention, fair amount of lacing, transparent reddish brown body, and fast rising carbonation. The aroma was burnt malt. The flavor was burnt malt, somewhat sweet, thin tasting and a dry finish. The mouthfeel was smooth and this is a light-medium bodied beer. This was way to easy to drink due to a thin flavor for the style. Worthy of a try nonetheless.

Bottle. Black centre with a dark brown outline a medium sized, frothy and lasting tan head. Nutty, roasted malts & some milk chocolate on the nose. Chocolate, roasted malts, hints of coffee and a slight dry dark berry note. Dry, lingering, roasty nut finish. A nice palate texture, mild carbonation, though a touch thin overall for a stout.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized light brown colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent strongly carbonated brown colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The crisp semi-thick mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The thin flavor contained notes of dark malt. An OK brew just nothing special.

Light shines through, not nearly as dark as any other stout I’ve ever had. Decent lace from the huge beige head which settles to a single layer of tight bubbles. Lots of chocolate and mocha aromas. Not very bitter--no notable hop nor is there any dark coffee smells. Although the ABV is low, it still seems like there is alcohol warmth in the nose. Dark chocolate with a touch of heavily creamed coffee is the flavor. Again, the alcohol is more present than the ABV suggests. Very strong carbonation cuts through any body that might be here. The swallow and aftertaste is thin but it lasts--the finish is almost chewy which is very curious.
