COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Old Schoolhouse Brewer’s Reserve, waxed bottle and wicked stout flavor. Deep, dark, and complex with layers of caramel, chocolate, and roasted malts. Very rich with high alcohol and plenty of hops to balance out the loads of malted barley.

Bottle kindly shared by toffsbury. Pours ink black with a thick brown head. Aroma is... wow - chocolate, coffee, some vanilla and bourbon - wow. Taste: rich, smooth, creamy, mocha taste, with some vanilla. Bitter finish. Thick and smooth on the tongue.

Bottle from Elizabeth St., Bellingham; there is a "best after" date but it can’t be read
Dark brown color, near black, with small head. Nice aroma, roasted malt, some chocolate, some tar, light coffee. Good body strength; strong flavor of roasted malt, with dark caramel, some coffee and pungent hop resins; strong bitterness too.
Imperial Stout by the book, very good.

Nothing to write home about. Smooth for the ABV which is nice. Very simple lightly roasty and chocolatey imp stout without and frills. Drinkable and good.

Bottle pours a jet black brew with a thin brown top. Nose is roasted malts and chocolate. Taste is burnt malts, bitter chocolate and caramel. Nice bitterness in the finish to go with the sweet.

Super rich and sweet stout , very plain and lightly hopped, it’s ok but very average

Bottle . Couple months old. Pours without much head and little lace. Aroma is strong dark chocolate and roast with some caramel sweetness and dark fruit. Flavor follows suit with more sugary simple sweetness and bitterness, appropriately balanced for a imp stout. Feel is soft, kinda flat, soapy, sticky and woody end. I don’t like the feel really. Other parts are nice but it feels too thin.

Bomber with a nice wax top. Black with mocha head that completely disappears. Chocolate, anise, semi-sweet and partially roasted malts, boozy. Bitter with a mild carbonation and moderate+ body, dry, chocolate, more booze, some bite on the finish.
