4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 gizmo_ber (9) - - FEB 8, 2012 does not count
Needs to be only slightly chilled to enjoy, as straight out of the refrigerator kept it bitter and withheld the aroma. With a little time to take some of the chill off it has a great flavor and finish, as well as some of the aroma being able to come through. Still wish it had a more chocolate flavor for something called double chocolate, but a very good stout.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Padilha (64) - BRAZIL - FEB 4, 2012
Uma boa cerveja, porém o chocolate não é tão notável assim, predominando muito mais um gosto de café do que chocolate, além de amargura lupulada que disfarça o sabor o que, para mim, encobre a possível doçura do chocolate.
2.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 PD4Ever (14) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - FEB 3, 2012
Poured from 14.9oz can into stout glass.
Aroma: Not much to the aroma. Strong smell of metal. Malty and chocolate when drinking but cant detect it at all from the smell.
Appearance: Extremely black color. 2 finger creamy tan head that stuck around.
Taste: Slightly sweet taste. Light bitter taste.
Palate: Light body, creamy texture. Soft carbonation and bitter finish
Overall: Tastes very similar to a guiness with less carbonation and a slight chocolate flavor A little too flat for my tastes and not enough chocolate for being named "Double Chocolate Stout"

500ml. Pours a creamy, brown head - dark body. Incredible chocolate aroma further down the glass. Quite a soapy taste, slippy. Nicer as you get further down the glass.

Poured from a 50cl can with considerable persistent tan head. Color is opaque dark brown/black. Smells of chocolate and roasted malts. Taste is sweet with a bitter finish. Not as complex as some other chocolate stouts or porters I’ve tried. The worst I can say is that it is flat, with practically no carbonation. Body is as full as expected. Worth trying, but not my favorite chocolate stout.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is roast, coffee and lots of chocolate. Taste is sweet with a bitter bite on the finish. Smooth and easy to drink, an excellent stout.

500 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with a beige head. Smells of sweet chocolate and coconut. Tastes of milk chocolate, oatmeal, vanilla, a hint of chocolate and maybe some hints of citrus, I’d say sweet lemon flavor..Body is very light and creamy, I’d say this is almost a perfect dessert stout.
