A base of pale, Munich, and Carapils malts is just enough to contain the massive hop flavor and aroma packed into this highly drinkable IPA. A blend of four American hop varieties is added four times in the kettle and twice in the fermenter for a complex and layered hop experience. Best served at 45-50˚F in a tulip or English style pint glass.

Poured from twelve ounce can purchased at Growlers in Hilton Head Island SC and tasted on July 13, 2012. Cloudy gold hue, small white head, nice sweet hoppy aroma with definite grapefruit notes, delicious bittersweet flavor with grapefruit being present in the taste as well as the aroma. This beer has a bold presence without being overwhelming. This brew would be nearly perfect if the hops were just a tiny bit more assertive but that’s a very minor quibble. I would love to try this on draft. A world class IPA.

355ml can at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Light hazy golden color with white head. Hoppy grassy aroma, light floral, some pine and grapefruit notes, malty bready, caramel. Sweet and bitter taste, more caramel in the taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Can purchased at The Hoppy Imp. (Greece) middle Sept 2015 and shared few days after in CZ. Sadly the can was over 4 months old which made this beer completely chicory with an Amber caramel tone which talks to oxidation. I am sure it is good when fresh.

Pours cloudy golden color with white head. Aroma is biscuit malt with pine. Flavor is citrus up front with a light malt backbone and a herbal and pine hop finish. Thanks Maxbier for sharing this one.

In line, @ bells 30th, aroma is amazing with huge citrus notes, taste has a little metallic and the flavor just doesn’t stand out like the aroma

13.09.2015 Istanbul. Teneke kutu.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2015 Hazy golden body, white head with bad retention. Aroma is big on the floral and tropical fruit side, with pronounced notes of mango and pineapple. A hint of resinous wood is there as well. Taste is an upfront bitterness, followed by a solid malt backbone. I love the resinous, dry aftertaste, just leaves you longing for more. Medium, smooth body. Not the most bitter or most aromatic example of the style, but the resinous taste won me over.

Clear gold, medium white head. Fruity notes with hints of... vanilla? and mango. Lightly bitter, with a lasting bitter and warming finish. Delicious.

Hazy orange color with medium white head. Classic West Coast Style IPA. Aroma of tropical fruits, juicy hops, flowers and citrus. Taste has lots of tropical fruits, tangerine, flowers and sweet citrus fruits. Very well balanced. Persistent bitter aftertaste.

Copper-orange color with big white head. Aroma is huge pine, spruce, forest floor, citrus, tangerine, smells thick. Taste is a typical mixture of American IPA flavours, heavy on the resinous-pine-spruce part, with influence of sweeter citrus fruits and just the perfect residual sweetness and body. Hints of spices as well. Oily and thick mouthfeel. Carbonation is laid back. An excellent IPA with a good malt base and perfectly layered hop influence!
