Belgian Style Yeti is a delicious new blend of brewing techniques - all the malt-driven roastiness of our Yeti Imperial Stout with characteristic spice and fruit notes imparted by our special Belgian yeast strain. Belgian Style Yeti is a one-of-a-kind beer as mysterious as the mythical creature himself. Impossible? See for yourself, you’ll be a believer, too.

22oz - Now I know what would happen if a delicious dark chocolate brownie and a cup of dark roast coffee had a baby.

Bottle. Pours opaque black with a medium creamy dark brown head that dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is chocolate, roasty malts, a bit of ashtray, light anise. Flavor follows, light plus sweet, medium bitter, chocolate and roasty with light anise. Not much going on that is Belgian here. Medium body, somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Nice as would be expected from the series.

pours dark with light/minimal carbonation, smells of chocolate with a light smoky chocolaty flavor. Solid IS.

Aromat: dość złożony i przyjemny, raczej wytrawny.

Black color with light brown, durable foam. Wonderfull, intense and rich aroma. Dried fruits, plums, dark chocolate, chicory/grain coffee, porto wine, liqueur, raisins. Balanced, smooth, complex taste. Dark chocolate, delicate coffee, dried fruits, chocolate and fruit liqueur, plums, baked apples and pears, autumn fruits. Warming, long, sweet, slightly sour finish. Full body with low carbonation. Thick and oily texture. Great beer, well balanced. Drunk a 1 year after the deadline.

Bottle to glass, from the cellar. Vintage 2012 (June). Pours dark black, light brown head. Lots of sediment present. Aroma is coffee, chocolate malts and yeast. Taste is peppery / spicy yeast transitioning to black cofee and subtle dark chocolate notes. Toast. Definitely mellowed out during aging. Palate is syrupy, thick and slightly carbonated. Not my favorite yeti, but still good.

Bottle - Dark chocolate, fruit esters and yeast. Jet brown with a rich brown head. Dark chocolate and dark fruit. Sweet raisin, which reminds me of Cadbury fruit and nut. Belgian yeast adds a nice fruity aspect that I quite like.

Darker brown, more opaque than the others. Bowed lacing ringed head. Peppery yeast, tinfoil BBQ’d raisins and bananas. Bit more bready initial taste than the others, but not as much as I thought it would be. Spicy, sweetcorn brine, sweet jets of malt towards the middle. Mouthfeel is betwixt between rich sweetness and a bit of a let down thinness and in stark contrast to the other Yetis. Twitches of yeast on the finish, caramel flamed and delicate linger. Disappointing but this to complete the set.

Bottle @Craig’s. Pours black, loved the spices coming through on the nose. On the palate, caramel, chocolate, molasses with a big fruit cake/Christmas spices thang going on. Loved the whole stout/belgian quad thing going on, so different to the original yeti.

Shared 2012 bomber. Limited bubbly cap atop a brutally dark brown. Aroma of chocolate, molasses, coffee, attic dust, tea leaves, wood, and a touch of smoke. Taste is dry sweetness (tea sweet), and dark roast coffee bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel, and late LONG dry finish.
