Bottle. Pours deep but clear amber. Two finger head and good lacing. Aroma is really big and bold grapefruit and tropical fruits. Taste is the same bold grapefruitiness with just a bit of an offset of the caramel malts. Just had a zombit dust priot to this and while both are "wow" PAs, this one may be better. Maybe. I don’t know. Shit.

This is probably my standard hoppy drink. Nice citrus hops and just enough malt to keep me coming back for more.

The is my favorite beer of all time. We can’t get enough of it in St. Louis. We have to get it ourselves in Chicago -- when we can find it -- and bring it back home!

It pours a deep, surprisingly dark, hazy amber color with a dense, fluffy, cream-colored head. The aroma is bright, bold, and fragrant. Fruity, citrusy hops dominate, with notes of grapefruit and pineapple catching the most attention. The big hop character is present in the flavor as well, but the citrus is less pronounced, giving way to more of an earthy and spicy hop presence. Unfortunately, although the light, fine carbonation is pleasant enough for the style, the texture doesn’t stand up to the resinous, coating hop profile. Overall, this is certainly one of the boldest, most flavorful pale ales I have tried, but its boldness borders on abrasive.

Nice creamy head laces down the glass. Dark golden color very hoppy citrus aroma. First taste features an abundance of hops with a clean finish. No bad aftertaste. Mild bitterness lingers well.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber with off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is floral hop and citrus. Medium mouthfeel with sweet hop and nice lingering bitter finish. Easy to drink an impressive American pale ale from Three Floyds.

Bottle at home.Hazy orange color with a nice creamy beige head. Aroma and flavour is dominated by grapefruit hops but is excellently balanced by caramel malts. Some grass. Hops feel very fresh.

12 oz bottle from Wisconsin. Cloudy orange pour, some head, no lacing. No sediment. Big, bold citrus aroma - cascade, centennial. Aroma would definitely suggest an IPA. Medium body, grapefruit, floral hop flavor, citrus, pine. Surprisingly not bitter, except for a lingering aftertaste. A gentle hop bite, well balanced by just enough malt. Very easy to drink. High ratings are justified. Just a *touch* too light-bodied, otherwise excellent.
