Our “East Coast” version of a West Coast-style IPA. Intense hop flavors and aromas of tropical and citrus fruits and pine dominate. A subtle malt sweetness brings the beer into balance.

Pint .9 into a stemmed NOHO 25th anniversary vast glass. Pours a beautiful orange, gold, tan, hazel brown meshed color with a sunshine background. Head is large the rising as the brew is poured. Almost invites you exclusively for the journey ahead. Aroma is fantastic, with wondrefully blended citrus, pine, and hops all seemingly to be super fresh. Taste is sweet at first, hoppy next, a tad bitter, then hoppy and organic thoughout. Such an excellent ipa here, def worth the 7.95 I ponied up for this. After taste is sweet, hoppy and inviting, with the mouthfeel medium and distinctivly fresh. This is such a well balanced ipa, so appealing to the pallate, it can not be put down! Love Maine beer.

On tap, pours light golden with white frothy, clingy head. The citrus and fruit smells are amazing. Perhaps the smoothest, most balanced IPA I’ve tried. This one begs for a long session. Everything good about the aroma comes through in the flavor. Finish is clean, and somewhat fruity. Best IPA I’ve had to date. Great stuff.

On tap at Torst. Milky golden pour with a white head. Resin aroma. Pine and citrus hop highlights. Well balanced. It has that mine rally characteristic that I find a bit off putting. Taste wise it fits right in with Portland, Oregon as opposed to Maine. Mellow orange zest finish. Average body and mouthfeel. It’s solid but definitely not worth the hype.
