Hazy pale color. White fluffy head. Very aromatic. Reminds me of an all day IPA or a dry hopped beer. Tasty. Better than hoppyum. Very bitter yet refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft - pour gold with white head and great lacing. Nose is citrus and pine, bordering on cat urine. Flavor adds citrus peel. Quite refreshing. Bitter. Thin to medium body. Light for such a strong beer.

Comes out of the tap an appetizing, slightly hazy golden with a decent off-white head. Strong aroma is very hoppy, more evergreen than woody. Richly hoppy flavor has a firm resiny tone and hints of malt and honey. Firm, lively texture leaves a hoppy and only slightly bitter finish. You won’t be jaded after this one.

Had on tap. Pours a hazy medium orange with no head to speak of. A small amount of lacing but nothing impressive. Very tropica citrus aroma with a hefty amount of bread as well. There is a nice floral aroma mixing in too. Very inviting and quite nice. Lots of mango and grapefruit in the taste with more bread and biscuit. Huge deptht to the hops in this one with a very strong malt backbone for balance. Very high bitterness that leads to a dry finish that is pleasant on a beer of this strength as opposed to sweetness that is all to often present in these types of beers. Overall, a very nice job by Foothills and a beer that I wish was more widely available.

On tap at the new Matthew Beer Temple. Tropical fruit notes, hint of peppery finish, good lacing... another solid IPA from Foothills. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the Thirsty Monk. Gold color, with a small, off-white head. The aroma is brilliant citrus and floral hops. There is probably a good malt profile there somewhere, but I was too busy reveling in the hops. The flavor is very mellow, and surprisingly well balanced. Medium body, crisp, and clean. Overall, this is a very nice IPA. Very impressed.

On tap at Brewery, Cloudy and a dull golden color, some lacing and a modest head. quite dry for what was touted as a west coast style.

Draft. Crystal clear light amber body with small white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, green tea, mint, orange/grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, herbal, some green tea, light mint. Smooth light-medium body.

Draft at Churchkey. Poured into a snifter, nice golden amber orange body with tons of white lacing. Aroma is super juicy citrus funk. One dimensional, but it works. Mouthfeel is sessionable and refreshing with notes of bitter citrus fruits, light pine, light funk and soft melon. Great!

Draft pour, looking a nice bright hazy yellow with a firm white head. Nose was huge citrus--lemon and grapefruit as well as tart orange with a spiciness that showed itself on the tongue. Some tropical notes. Hoppier than expected, in a wonderful way. Citrus, fruit, and pepper, all well balanced in a full-bodied IPA. I could drink so much of this.
