From a 500ml bottle on 24/12/ 2012 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a very dark golden with a small to medium head. Has a fabulous, very strong piney hop aroma, with some floral and caramel notes. Flavour wise, you get sweet biscuit and caramel malt, orange, lime, citrus peel, and a massive, lingering resiny bitterness. Exhibits a wonderful sweet bitter balance and great complexity while being exceptionally easy to drink for a beer approaching 9%. A sensational DIPA. Another cracker from 8 Wired.

Bottle @ ZZT 9 thanks to Dutchdrebus. Hazy dark orange color, decently sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, some pine. It’s so much better than I am describing. Really worth a taste. Lovely.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 10.09.2014
Aroma is hoppy, sweet and heavy with exotic fruits and caramel. Also resiny tones and hints of vanilla. Palate is oily and low on CO2. Flavour is sweetish with resiny malt, caramel and fruity hops. Also some pineapples. Finishes with some lingering hops. Very American.

Aroma is intensely hoppy and has a big citrus blast. Pours a nice golden with white head leaving some quickly fading lacing. Taste is supper hoppy as you’d expect with a ton of great citrus flavors.

Bottle. Massive hop aroma (as expected). Big thick mouthfeel and the malt perfectly balances the bitterness. Very good
