RBESG August 2011, Brew Wharf. Golden with a small white head. Lots of grapefruity hop aroma on top of grainy malt. Malt and citrus hop flavour with a good, firm biterness. Touch of homebrew character.

Cask @ brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fresh citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter citrus flavor. Has a fruity citrus hoppy finish.

Cracking cracking stuff*. Good pale copper tones, bright clear beer, spanking citrus thru a fine bubbly head. Great hoppy pale, one of those, I could drink all day brews.

(Cask at Brew Wharf, Southwark, London, 23 July 2011) Hazy golden colour amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Hoppy, fruity nose with grapefruit, pine needles and loads of very fresh hops. Like putting your head in a sack of hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with generous amounts of fresh hops, grapefruit, pine needles and slightly grainy malt. Medium body, with balanced sweetness and a fresh, generous bitterness. Quite impressive hop character. Very nice beer, and oh so drinkable.

Clear medium to dark yellow orange colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay - grass, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grass - hay. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110801]

Cask - Brew Wharf, Borough, London.Cheers Ang! An orange body with a small, lasting bubbly white head. Healthy citrus & floral aromas: peach, hints of grapefruit & tangerine. Again, good juicy citrus hop characters on the palate: strawberry, peach and passion fruit with lighter pine tones. A dry woody pale malt base comes through. Light to medium body, crisp & softish carbonation with a lingering pithy bitterness.
