Wow!

15 cl. draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Murky amber, small beige head. Taste is heavy on the overripe peaches, USA hops, grapefruits & pine, biscuit malts, light candy sugar, something about this feels very BE for me, maybe the yeast? Light floral with some pepper. Body is touch malt heavier. Not too shabby, nice interesting brew esp. with the BE feels and huge amount of overripe peaches.

Taster at Delirium Brussels. Shared with Mathieu87. APPEARANCE: clear dark blond beer, small stable head. NOSE: fresh, hoppy, citrus, fruity. TASTE: fruity, very fresh and bitter finish, very easy drinking, but still a very good taste!

(26 avril 2013)

On tap at Le Naufrageur summer 2012.The color is a clear amber with a thin beige head. The aroma is of sweet and citrus fruits, sweet hops. The taste also of the fruits plus the sweet hops, plus some pine notes with spicies. A very pleasant after taste.A american pale ale.

On tap at L’Autre Oeil (Gatineau, Qc). Hazy amber body with an average off-white foamy head. Fresh malty/hoppy aroma with honeyish, grainy, and woody hints. Alcohol is well hidden. Its sharp hoppy taste carries grainy, coriander, and citrusy notes. Ends with a long bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Drank at the 2012 Oktoberfest des Québecois on September 9. Orange honey, medium head. Aroma of dry citra hops, some herbs. Citra citrus taste and very dry, notes of green grass, dry bitterness. Good but too dry!

Cask from Vices & Versa. Advertised as a belgian dubbel, not APA. Thinking this must have been rebranded as there were no APA notes. Fruitywith some notes of plums and peach. Nice initial head with low carbonation, creamy in the mouth. Lovely beer, whatever the style!

In short: A crisp and bright, full body and refreshing citrusy/grassy/piney IPA. Very good
How: Tap at Chambly Beer Festival 2011
The look: Partly cloudy amber body topped by a medium beige head with good retention
In long: Nose is very hoppy with citrus fruits (oranges, some grapefruits), dry grass, pine tree notes and some pineapples. Rarely do I smell an Quebec IPA with such a bright and vibrant nose, most Quebec IPAs tend to be malty and more discreet or resinous on the aroma. We’re finally catching up!!! Full body with plenty of toasted biscuity malts that are crisp and not too sweet. Nice refreshing bitterness of medium intensity with all the elements I have listed in the aroma. A pleasant nice surprise, this is one of the Quebec IPA that I could mistake for an IPA of a major west-coast brewery. It is very surprising that two eastern Quebec breweries collaborated together and it resulted in the creation of this west-coast style IPA but not as surprising as if it had resulted in the creation of a new line of woman lingerie. For instance.
