4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a clear golden colour with sizable white head that dissipates to a small white covering that laces the glass quite nicely. Aromas are pine, citrus, sweet malt. Flavors are grapefruit, pine, medium bitterness, bit of malty sweetness. Overall a very smooth flavorful beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330mL bottle from Beer Cartel. BB 19/03/2016
Clear golden body, creamy white head.
Excellent hop driven nose - sticky resiny tropical fruits, guava, rockmelon, paw paw, papaya, kiwi fruit, slight leafy quality, spicy but not woody or citrusy. Biscuity malt presence beneath.
Medium bodied, bit thin, moderate carbonation.
Touch of biscuity, caramelly malt upfront, followed up by a solid measure of those melony, tropical fruity, juicy hop notes. Moderate bitterness, good balance.
Very nice, could probably do with a touch more body but a good showcase of NZ hops.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Amber beer with a bubbly body and a reasonable head. The aroma is lightly hopped with some roastedness, and the flavour is quite deeply hopped and bitter with plenty of dryness. Overall a nice hopped and roasted beer.

bottle at home. This is a ripper of an APA. Pale amber pour, big fruity and citrus hop aroma, appropriate solid smooth bitterness. A superb example of the style. I just wish it was a bit cheaper in Australia!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: MAY 18, 2015 Citrus grapefruit pale. Way too much tang here for me. Nice resinous quality but needs more tropical fruits.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On keg at the Bow Bar.
Appearance - cloudy golden orange with a pleasant thin head.
Nose - slight struck match and chicken skin thing going on.
Taste - intense lemon and lime.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish.
Overall - i have to say, this might be the least exciting beer of today. Needed more on the nose and taste didn’t really step up either.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Really enjoyed this, particularly when priced the same as lawnmower beer. Aroma was medium hop, more grass and spruce than floral. Taste was strong bread with caramel and nuts.
