4.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Taster at the brewery. Pours a dense black color with a small tan head that slowly recedes to a ring. The aroma is all coffee--dark and rich. The taste is a coffee explosion. I get multi-layered well roasted coffee, dark bitter baking chocolate and some bitter walnuts. No real sweetness. The palate is full, smooth, creamy and a bit oily with soft carbonation. Finishes incredibly long and dry. Overall: My favorite coffee stout to date, yummy stuff.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750 ml bottle. Pours a black oil can viscous mixture out with a creamy brown head. A big nose of milky coffee, some roast and chocolate. The flavor is dead on awesomeness: super sweet lactose and roasted coffee, vanilla, light fruit pushing through, some toffee and again more sweet full coffee. Great surprisingly mellow beer. Awesome. The palate alone is great, soft and full.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
750mL bottle, sent from TigerBrew (thanks a lot, Cesar), pours black with a small brown head. Nose brings out loads of lactose sugar above anything, a little coffee, and a little roast. Flavour brings out loads of lactose sugar - this is a milk stout all out - with slight coffee, and a touch of roast. This is Speedway turned milk stout. Another amazing version of the classic Speedway.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle for rating #5600:   Black, moderate foamy beige head, nice lacing.   Sweetened coffee up front, roasted malts, and a little spice.   Not sure what it is, but its nice.   Faint apple skin and lactose as well.   Roasty start, alcohol, soft coffee notes, but a little astringent.   Seems a bit young.   Smooth start, robust on the tongue.   Very warming.   Assertive coffee finish, roasty, with some heat.   Faint aspects of dark or bakers chocolate.   Very good beer, but seems a bit young and brash.   Needs a bit of smoothing out, but still very enjoyable.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: NOV 18, 2013 Bottle received in trade. Thank you nicks6217. Pours pitch black with a creamy goldenish greenish brown head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is tiny sweet with roasted malts, dark roast coffee, raw coffee berries, banana bread, alcohol, high quality dark chocolate, chocolate chip cookies, coffee hard candy and hay. Taste is sweet, bitter, very tiny sour and malty with heavily roasted malts, dark roast coffee, banana bread, bitter chocolate, hay, soil, alcohol, bitter chocolate truffles and hints if caramel and charred wood. Mouthfeel is round, creamy, silky, soft and full bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, charred wood, chocolate milkshake, coffee hard candy, soil and hints of alcohol. A close to perfect beer. Big, fat, rich and very very complex. The coffee is perfectly balanced and the lactose adds a very interesting bitter chocolate milkshake feel to the brew... I’m in awe!

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle sent by my dear friend IBrew2or3. Cheers, Dave! Pours a deep stout brown color with a tan head. Nose is chocolate, chocolate syrup, milk chocolate, brownie, fudge, earth, some light roast, and some cafe con leche. Flavor is similar with huge chocolate, cocoa, chocolate, syrup, dark chocolate, and some light baker’s chocolate with some lactose, some sweetness, some cafe con leche, and slight roast. Medium in body and 12% of well-hidden alcohol, and some lingering coffee. An outstanding stout, a bit thinner in body than I’d like for something this big, but the nose and flavor are an absolute marvel.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is one hell of a beer. Tons of lactose makes it come off very much like a rich alcoholic coffee milkshake. A bit of vanilla and tons of complex coffee notes dominate with a bit of chocolate and caramel. Wow this is fantastic.
