4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours oily black color, haze, with unstable foamy brown head, which transform itself to a tiny ring around the glass.
Visually low carbonation.
Aroma: intense aroma of bourbon, oak, vanilla, cacao, of dark malts, which takes on coffee and dark chocolate.
Flavor: rich dark malts flavor, which takes on coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa. There also detectable additions, so Cacao nibs as Coffee, supported with notes of dark fruits, especially of prunes, cherries, plums, and supported with flavor of bourbon, vanilla and oak, which steps forward from the background. Taste is namelly malty sweet, than you detect gentle bitterness and discrete alcohol warmth, which immediately steps forward and lingering parallel with malt sweetness in finish. Finish is dry, sticky. Body is full, carbonation is low, texture is very smooth. World-class imperial stout/doubble american.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Whoa.. one helluva beer. Seems so bold, yet very mild, all rounded, powerfull.. Perfect deep roasted malts all the way, but keeps solid smoothness, even more rounded when cocoa mildness comes in, some dried fruits, BA aspect and
vanilla gives another dimension. Mostly sweet with decent bitterness. Perfectly sippable brew. Love it

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bourbon roast and chocolate with a moderate coffee presence. Way less assertive side by side with the victory. Black pour thinning head. Flavors of roast chocolate and bourbon mild coffee. Not bad just not as impressive as the victory. A little thin too. Boozy.
