Nov 30, 2009 An unclear orange beer with a nice but disappearing head. The aroma was mild with some fruitiness. The taste was a light fruit taste such as orange & pears with a slight spice finish that was very peppery. Very nicely done for being 8% ABV.

Nov 29, 2009 Big Chouffe 2006 magnum. Mostly sweet on the nose, some peppery tripel yeasty aroma. Dark gold and effervescent when I poured it into my glass the morning after it was opened. Active dancing sediment in the glass settled to a filmy sludge over time. Spice forward in the sip, banana, pepper and clove. This beer has held up great.

Nov 29, 2009 Bottle from Mr Lawrence wine merchants, Brockley. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a white head. Aromas of caramel, citrus, summer fruits, cinammon. Floral scents. Flavours of steamed apples, toffee, sweet spices, barley sugars, citrus. Finishes fruity with a very nice hoppy edge. Tasty!

Nov 29, 2009 Blond with a huge white head, extremely clean and clear looking. Aroma is extremely typical for the style with light sweetish fruity malt and plenty of bright fruity yeast esters. Flavour is similar but with a alcoholic touch that brings it down a bit. Ends with on a bittersweet fruity lingering note. Very simple and straightforward, utterly drinkable though.

Nov 28, 2009 Bottle at the Dilly Deli. Light, grassy, herbal, bready with some yeast and a little spice in the finish. A delightfully refreshing and easy drinking Belgian. The alcohol is completely hidden. The body is lighter than I would have thought, but the flavor of course is very good.

Nov 15, 2009 Slightly hazy gold color with a massive bright white head, a little creamy in texture. The nose is fruity and sweet, with a lemon-lime crispness. Finish is biting in its acidity, the hops perfect in their spiciness, quite dry and long lasting aftertaste. Goes well with Shanghai savoury dumplings.

Nov 14, 2009 Draught. Golden, off white head. Plenty off yeasty, fruity aromas along with some malts and grain and a little lime. Flavour just adds up nicely the aroma with some vanilla, bready notes as well.

cloudy orange, smooth offwhite head.
flowery yellow fruity aroma, mild spicy, coriander?, very smooth and fresh aroma.
flavor is yellow fruity, dry, slightly spicy , rather well balanced, perhaps a little too bitter from spices or alc., faint flowery hops as also was in aroma. pleasant flavor, close to an 8.
