Fresh bomber from Pipeworks. Thanks to Funky Brewster for all his hard work on this one. Great artwork and I’m rooting for the unicorn. Pours golden amber slightly hazy with thick white head and small lace. Nose is light, fruity with citrus notes and slight peanut shell. Medium bodied with pleasant mild carbonation. Well balanced on the tongue with up front tangy notes moving to a cacophony of hop notes. Bitter almost salty hops move into resinous and slightly citrusy flavors. Terrific beer.

Mixed between caramel malt and citrusy undertones on the palate, but this is really a pure hop bomb, turning crisp, bitter and a bit overwhelming through the finish, heat covered well however.

Pours a nice golden yellow with a thick white head and lots of bubbles, and lacing on the glass. Nice citrus aroma, lemony and a hint of pine. Taste is all hops and bitterness. There is some citrus hidden way in the back but I find it hard to taste. Over all a good DIPA but I was expecting a lot more when I bought this bottle.

Batch 4633/634 served in a tulip. The beer pours a cloudy golden orange with a thick white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is dank pine, citrus, and hints of tropical fruit and bread. Taste is pine, tropical fruit, and citrus up front. Caramel and wheat bread join the party in the finish. Alcohol is well hidden and the beer is juicy and coats your mouth, yet finishes somewhat dry. My first pipeworks beer and I am impressed.

Thanks to Charlie for the bottle. Pours a slighty cloudy, orange color, with a small, soon disappearing head. The aromas, just as pipeworks citra ninja, reveals glazed, juicy peach, heading into a ripe fruit hop direction. Big chunks of lime mingle together with tropical fruits, carried by bready malts. Citrus enriches the nose big times by adding a crisp, bitter counterpart to the the stone fruits. Finds an intriguing balance between grassy bitterness and sun ripened, honeyed peach pulp. Tastes of bready, soft malts with peach, blood orange and lots of lime, coming to the palate at the same time as honey does. While the brew begins very malty, bitter lime adds a generous bitterness to the hops, turning more dominant than the maltiness. Honey provides a luscious sweet, ripe aspect to the fruits, accentuating the peach and tangerine impression. The beer tastes sonehow similar to hopslam, while finishing a tad dryer, with more citrussy bitterness on the tongue. Still it balances perfectly between the malty biscuits with sugared peach on top and zesty, dry but rich lemon. Although the beer finishes fairly dry, it preserves a slick, fruity sweetness, which gives even the a aftertaste some sort of enjoyable balance.

Pours a nice glowing burnt orange with lacing left behind. Aromas are sweet malts and dank meaty hops. Nice full mouthfeel with resinous hop flavors and a balancing corn syrup sweetness. Excellent beverage.

Batch 633. Good hoppy IPA but too high alcohol content for me at 9 percent............

Bottle, super fresh, pours a nice orangy color with a big white head. Aroma is of lots of fruit, some light tropical fruits, bitter citrus, some orange peel and a light punch of pine and an almost cotton candy note. Taste is complex, lots of tropical citrus, orange peel, tangerine, sweet/bitter citrus, bread, pine sap, light cotton candy and no real tell of an ABV.

[My bottle (660ml) shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o Glouglouburp] Pours a hazy orange-copper with average size long-lasting frothy white head. Nice lacing on the glass. Fruity hoppy aroma, with citrus and tropical fruit, and some caramel malt in the back. Juicy fruity hoppy flavour along with a bit of alcohol and a fairly big bitter finish. Alcohol is there but fairly well hidden for the abv. Average to medium bodied. Not as god as expected but quite good nonetheless.

Pours hazy gold with white head. Aroma is citrus. Perfectly balanced, nice crisp medium caramel malt body. Sweet citrus on the hop side, not all that bitter just a bit of pine. Probably one of the most drinkable 9% IPA’s I have have. Good stuff.
