4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Poured into a pint glass out of a 22oz bomber.
Pours a slightly hazy medium orange with a half finger white head. Considering the abv, the head retention and lacing are spectacular.
HUGE hit of hops on the nose. Tons of tropical fruit from the Simcoe and Citra hops. There is a touch of caramel underneath along with overripe fruit. There is some dank too. All around, it is one of the best aromas I have ever experienced on a IIPA.
The flavor continues the hops assault with overripe fruit, orange marmalade, and sweet caramel. Mango and orange dominate the fruity aspect and there is a little less dankness compared to the aroma. Vanilla and caramel undertones along with a very assertive bitterness that is necessary to balance out the malt sweetness. Alcohol is nearly completely hidden providing a pleasant warmth in the throat and chest. Quite impressive. Mouthfeel is just slightly sticky.
Overall, one of the best IIPAís out there. I put this up with Hopslam as being the best IIPA available on the market. Incredible balance and tons of flavor combined with a big punch from the alcohol. A beer to seek out and pick up lots of.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tap at Billco, Napa. Pours fairly light golden color almost no head, minimal lacing. Not unsurprising given that itís an 11% IIPA. Aroma is juicy citrus, orange, and tangerine with some floral notes. Dank hops. Flavor is candied tangerine orange , lemon and caramel sweetness. Hoppy but a good balance. Really excellent. Itís hoppy but itís just so good. Knee Deep does west coast hops so well.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy orange color with big white head. Aroma is hop explosion, sweet juice, citrus, piney, earthy. Taste is refreshing, soothing, great residual sweetness, not too punchy, bitter finish. Honey as well. Both warming and refreshing. Fine-bubbled carbonation. This has 11.25 ABV? Crazy. I like this very much.

Draught: Somewhat orangish darker golden color. There was a small white head on it. Good nose! Lots of hops! Some sweetness, citrus, pine, earthy. The taste is quite good. Some sweet malts, and a lot of hops. Pine, earthy, citrus. A really good TIPA!

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
75cl bottle shared in a Struise glass. Dark orange to amber with a voluminous white head which lasts admirably. Aroma is pine and resinous hops with very little else going on. Taste is more of the same - lovely mouthfeel and the carbonation is spot on. Not so malty compared to other sweeter efforts which is my preference. Clearly, a strong beer but very well balanced and you would not know this was over 11% ABV. Best IPA I have tried thus far.

22 oz bottle. Bottled on 03/16/15. (Healthy Spirits) San Francisco, CA.
Clear golden colour with a mid-size white head.
Very strong hoppy aroma with strong bitterness. Stunning. Some sweetness there too.
The flavour is strong sweet and bitter hops. Wow! Amazing DIPA or TIPA on 11.25%.
Super strong but still tasty and balanced. A great brew.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aromas of huge buttery hops, orange peel, pines, grapefruit, hop resin, tangerine, honey, maple and sweet caramel. Appears a bright gold with a very thin, almost non existent white foam. Taste follows nose with that buttery hop profile in the front followed by big citrus, tangerine, peach, grapefruit, stone fruit, mango, honey, crisp caramel, biscuit malt and grain malt. Finishes very dry and bitter with residual hop resin, pines, and oils. Overall, really nice triple IPA. Actually one that is not too sweet and genuinely hop defined. The malt provides an incredible body though. A rating.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very nice aroma with citrus, pine, and some alcohol. Very bitter flavor with some citrus and heavy alcohol. More bitterness and more alcohol in the finish. I like imperial IPAs, but this was a little over the top and probably could have used a few less ABVs, Still a really good beer though.
