COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Denne imperial oatmeal stout er brygget med den vietnamesiske kaffesort Ca Pe Chon, som er en af verdens dyreste kaffesorter. Ca Pe Chon kaffen er lavet af afføringen fra væseldyr. De sydøstasiatiske dyr spiser kun de bedste og mest modne kaffebønner. Enzymer i deres fordøjelsessystem hjælper til at nedbryde bønnerne. Herefter indsamles afføringen som indeholder de hele bønner og bruges til væselkaffen. Kaffen har en kraftig smag og en endnu kraftigere aroma. Nogle mener endda, at kaffen øger sexlysten!
En Imperial Oatmeal Stout brygget på: Vand, malt, humle, gær og vietnamesisk ca phe chon kaffe. Lagret på cognac tønder.

English: The recipe for this beer is as simple as a child’s finger painting: you take one of the world’s highest rated beers – that’s the one called Brunch – and then you let it splash about in a totally fresh cognac barrel for three months. After that it’s a question of out of the barrel, into a bottle and off you go.

Bottle. Black, viscous, minimal tan head. Strong coffee on the nose, but it is shortly joined by apricots, black chocolate and a big toffee smell, which lingers on. Just so inviting. Tastes absolutely unbelievable: big whack of smooth toffee, silky milk chocolate and jammy apricots, with aftertastes of lovely nutty coffee. And of every other flavour in it. This beer is so good it makes me a little mental.

Keg at BD Camden, 21/03/15. Black topped with a decent dirty tan swirl. Nose is dark fruit rinds, bitter orange, spice, booze fumes - a touch harsh for me, light oak, Cognac tune in, rich chocolate. Taste comprises mellow dark fruits, spice, charr, Rich chocolate orange, raisens, light coffee. Full bodied, fine carbonation, warming booze vein pulses throughout. Ok impy but a touch harsh for me.

Keg at ND Camden. It pours jet black with a thick tan head. The nose is rich roast, sweet coffee, vanilla, light apple notes, juicy, charred wood, light spice, burnt toffee, nougat and a good hit of chocolate. The taste is rich roast, smooth, bitter-sweet, cocoa, earth, coffee, mild acidity, warming alcohol, wood, charred stuff, medicinal notes, tar and some dried apple with a dry, roasty finish. Full body, fine carbonation and slick mouth-feel. Rich and decadent, yet remains very drinkable. Good stuff.

Keg at BD Camden - London. Hard roast in the nose, some tar, cocoa, light medicinal notes. Medium to big sweet flavor with rich dark malts, darkr malts, raisins, cherries, earth, burnt grains, baking cocoa. Full bodied with average carbonation. Warming finish with more strong dark malt character, bittersweet baking cocoa, scorched earth, leather, dried dark fruits. Robust and nicely balanced.

Pours crude black with a medium sized brown head which soon disappears. Aroma is coffee, cocoa, peaty whisky. Taste is mild cognac initially followed by cocoa then, some oak, slight liquorice which then leads on to a long coffee finish. Full bodied with a slightly sticky finish.

Sticky apple, melted figs and quite hot. Initial taste is brisk coffee or simply up front bitterness. More fig and bit of varnish. Spicier mouthfeel than the others, kicks on a bit. Nice cooling bitterness and sticky sweet linger.

Bottle at Dangerous Bottle Share 6.0. Pitch black pour with a tiny tan head. Nose has some barrel character, booze, light bitter coffee and some chocolate. Taste is super smooth, dark chocolate, light freshly ground coffee, vanilla and some ash.

Pours black with a dark brown head. Aroma has very visible and clear sweet cognac notes which comes through very nicely along with the characteristic weasel coffee. Also some chocolate, vanilla and a weak wooden feel to the aroma. The taste is dry, sweet and savory. Notes of roasted coffee, sweet cognac, chocolate and vanilla. Very nice take on this fantastic beer!

Thick viscous poor, with fairly light carbonation. Rich nose of dark roast malt, vanilla, chocolate, light sweet booze. Slick full bodied mouthfeel, with rich flavors of dark roast malts, dark chocolate, light barrel character. Delicious but pricey.
