From notes. Tasted on 5/5/2013 at Yazoo Funk Fest from a growler that Taylor brought. Pours hazy yellow/orange with an average white head that slowly recedes to thin lace. The nose is more mango than everything else with the passionfruit and guava noticeable, also, tons of lemon and vinegar acidity. The flavor quite sour at first, with all of the tropical fruit kicking in nicely, tons of lemon and vinegar acidity. The body is light with lively carbonation and a long super sour tropical fruit finish.

Draught at All In Beer Fest 2014. Hazy pale golden, medium white head. Intense fresh tropical fruit aroma, some yougurth and vinegar as well. Light bodied, medium carbonation. Dry and intensely sour.

Pours cloudy yellow. The aroma holds passion fruit with undertones of mango, lemon, lacto and a little wheat. Really bright. The flavour is dry, heavily acidic with almost no bitterness. Tropical fruit, citrus, lacto and a touch of wheat. The mouthfeel is surprisingly robust and really tartish with a medium carbonation. Lingering fruity and acidic finish. Near medium bodied.

Multiple pours at What the Funk!? Pour is hazy golden yellow with a big white head and good lacing. Super sour fruits, light lactic, passionfruit, pineapple, lemony notes, definitely picking up the guava, and a hint of vanilla in the aroma. Taste is very sour, somewhat acidic, lemon peel, white wine vinegar, almost salty, wheat, pineapple, and mango with a big sour finish. Light body with high carbonation. Really tasty berliner/sour hybrid.

Growler big thanks to Greg. Pours hazy yellow orangish with a minimal rim of bubbles dissapearing quite fast. Aroma is sour acidy fruity mango passionfruit slightly astringent. Flavor sour acidy tart and fruity in front, some sweetness lots of tropical fruits, nice passionfruit and mango, a bit acetone, lemon juice at the end. Finishes with a great sour tart and freshly fruity aftertaste.

Hunahpu Day - I think my glass is laced with cocaine, because I can’t get enough of this Florida Weisse. Pour a beautiful yellow/orange. A very fruity and a little tart in the nose. The smell of the fruit came out really nice. It tastes just as good as it smell. I love fruity beers!!! Solid job, JW!!!

Lucky enough to have had this on a few different occasions now. This and PFDF were my favorite beers at hunahpu this year. At the Berliner Bash at Peg’s it was again amongst the best brews on tap. Just when I didn’t think this beer could get any better, I went to the Wakefield/Lokal beer dinner. Best batch to date for me. You always see those lame posts, if you had to choose one beer to drink for the rest of your life, what would it be? Well, I’d have to pick Miami Madness. The aroma just blows me away. Tons of tropical goodness. Sour, but balanced enough to where I could funnel it for the rest of eternity.

Pours a bright yellowish orange, a bit thick and pulpy. Aroma is very very tropical, a mishmash of fresh juices. Flavor is divine. Loads of mango and guava with some light pineapple. Very juice like until a puckering acidic blast hits you. Wonderful stuff, the perfect Florida beverage.
