COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This deep amber ale has rich & roasty malt flavors, a big hoppy character, citrus overtones (courtesy of the hops and our special brewers yeast) and modest alcohol.

Pour is a very dark amber with superb clarity. Head is a cherry-white. Lacing is fair and head remains throughout pretty well. Nose is sticky, with roasted, well balanced malts and pine hops. A Sugar sweet aroma covers over a humidor-esque vintage quality. Taste is a redistribution of the nose, with a bigger malt and hop heavy hitter. Well balanced with a smooth, yet bitter aftertaste. I think this is Stone’s best offering thus far.

Bottle. Pours a reddish amber, with medium white head. Nice aroma of hops. This hoppiness (Cascade?) also dominates the flavor - pine and citrus, interplaying nicely with subtle caramel malts. Surprisingly rich body and flavor for a low-ABV amber - quite impressive.

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2012 A solid ale. Its worth a try. The levitation to me is a great example between a macro ale & a craft ale.

What a great low abv beer! Pours dark copper with a thin head that stick saround. Some lacing. Nose is sweet a bit of peachy-fruit and maybe some cereal. In the mouth up front is a bit on the sweet side, backed by some citrus with a nice long bitter finish. Light-ish body with medium carbonation. This is one heck of a session beer!

Bottle, 355ml - Semi hazy amber red with a small light brown head. Aroma is fruity with notes of caramel, citrus, earthy hops and toast. Flavor is malty with notes of caramel, spruce and cereal. So impressed that I’m going to have to find a clone to brew after to have a session beer for summer.

An amazing amount of flavor for such a low alcohol content beer! Wonderful hoppy aroma. A multitude of flavors roll across your tongue, ending in what I would characterize as a smoky raisin. Wonderful!

36cl, American brew, from Beers of Europe Setchey, complex brew, malty/fruity and slightly woody/bitter, yet very easy to drink, balanced, hazy, good head, good brew

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a nearly clear medium copper with a thick 1.5 finger head. Awesome lacing and head retention. Aroma is a wonderful mix of citrus and pine with a little roasted malt shining through. Flavor has plenty of citrus up front along with some nice toasted malt and caramel. Even a little bit of coffee. Bitterness is medium to high and lingers through the finish. Mouthfeel is quite watery and a bit chalky. Overall, for the strength of this brew is sure packs in plenty of flavor. Maybe a little too expensive to be a regular session brew but it is great on occasion.

Aroma is a nice blend of pine and sweetness. It poured a nice amber color with a long lasting eggshell colored head. Absolutely amazing taste! Nice pine tasting hops but not overpowering and a good malt sweetness with it. Light body with a slick mouth feeling and average carbonation. Love this stuff.

Amber color, fruity aroma, nice taste, and very little after effects. Excellent during or after a meal.

12oz bottle pours dark amber in color with off white head. Almost that tinge of green you get from hops. Dark malty aroma with a big hop nose mainly citrus. Flavor is big hop but not over the top. The malty backbone is well balanced. A very good beer.
