4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
So thrilled to get my hands on a bottle of this since Ruination is my top rated brew. Poured from a bomber that was chilled in a cooler while driven straight from CA to OK. I also poured a "regular" Ruination so I could A/B them. Pours a cloudy golden orange, a hue I would paint my walls. Obviously way more hops in the dry hop process. Very complex, very smooth, very awesome...however, believe it or not, I prefer the regular Ruination by a sliver of a hair. I do like the ABV and IBU of the 10th Anni, but lucky for me the normal Ruination wins in this A/B test. That said, I’m thrilled to be enjoying the 10th Anni...it’s like they turned up the intensity level on this from the Ruination. Well done Stone, well done.

Piwo w kolorze ciemnego bursztynu z lekką opalizacją.
Chyba trafiła mi się nieco felerna butla bo ogólnie piwo mnie nie zachwyciło. W aromacie czuć mieszankę karmelu i chmieli w charakterze czerwonych owoców z lekką nutą alkoholu. Po dłuższym zastanowieniu przypomina nieco barley wine.
W smaku nieco płaskie i słodkie. I co najgorsze w miarę picia jakieś takie niepijalne lekko kapuściane się zrobiło. Piwo z przesyłki z Kanady.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Drank at the Stone 25th anniversary event at Craftissimo. Clear red-brown. Very, very massively hoppy. So resinous it's almost minty. San Diego style IPA with the hoppiness dialled up. Little bit of spice in the nose. Body is smooth, bitter, not much carbonation, slightly sweet floral finish. Very good.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap from Craftissimo for Stone 20th Anniversary. Clear dark amber pour with frothy dense white head. Aroma is intensely resinous and piney - astringent and boozy. Taste follows - huge pine resin bitterness, boozy burn, then caramel sweet roundedness. Sort of exactly what you'd expect, but in a good way. Surprisingly balanced, though, if you can say that for such a gigantic resin hop beer. There's a nice sweetness at the very beginning and at the finish. Really solid. Not an everyday drinker.

On tap. Pours a clear dark copper amber with a thin beige head and great lacing. Smells citrus, woodsy, alcohol. Tastes high alcohol and has a bouquet of flavors. Medium bitterness and lasting good aftertaste.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
6 oz pour at Craft Beer Cellar, Clayton. Aroma is dominant strong pine with citrus and fruit. Appearance is golden orange with 1/2 finger-width off-white head with poor retention, mild sparkle. Taste is delicious strong pine, sweet citrus and tropical fruit, malt backbone. Palate is medium-to-full bodied with thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation with balance of sweet/bitter piney finish. Overall, waves of strong piney flavor along with complementary goodness.
