Poured a dark brown amber with little head. The aroma first walloped of bourbon, but then Belgian yeast, oak, and vanilla shone through. Definitely bourbon up front on taste as well. As it warmed I got brown sugar, dark malts, maple and more vanilla. Medium mouthfeel for such a big boozy beer. Great stuff.

22 oz. bottle, sent from mista (thanks a lot, Geoff), pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out loads of bourbon, a touch of Belgian yeast, and caramel. Flavour reveals a huge bourbon bomb, with loads of bourbon and wood, drowning out any Belgian qualities. This is a big fat bourbon bomb through and through, with moderate booziness. Great stuff.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
bottle I picked up some time ago in Philadelphia, forgot I had it in the back of my fridge. Pours a dark amber, not quite the shade of black with a tan foam head. Nose is full of boubon. Taste continues with bourbon smoke and sweeetness, some nod to pitted fruits. All wrapped in a big, burly, unforgiving body.
