Aroma de fermentos e frutas cítricas. Coloração caramelo, escura, encorpada. Espuma densa, cremosa e duradoura. Paladar que lembra limão, com discreto gosto torrado no final. Excelente carbonatação.

Pours a beautiful dark wood colour, with a very clear profile. The head is nonexistent (from a bottle). Aroma of burning sugars, almost like the kitchen aroma when making caramel. You might love the aroma or be left wanting a bit more. I was quite happy.
I like the wheat profile from the first few sips. A classic weisse with a maltiness that provides for an excellent sweetness.
Surprisingly well carbonated, perhaps a dash too well. The lingering sweetness a minute or two after a sip, tends to lend to a certain flatness, or should I say a lack of well roundedness, to the finish.
Surprisingly refreshing, however every sip demanding a bit more from this beer. A bit of balance at the finish would be nice, but still a great sipper.

500 ml bottle. Pours hazy-amber with long lasting, white head. Aroma is of cloves, banana, yeast and wheat malt. Body is medium and slightly crisp. Taste is of wheat malt, brown sugar, yeast cloves, banana and hint of hops. Some acidity. Finish is long and spicy. Nice, complex Hefe.

500ml bottle. Gushed when opened, poured with about 8cm white head over cloudy, opaque, brown liquid. Head reduced to thin light brown layer wihin a few minutes with no lacing. Spicy aroma with cloves dominating. Taste again of cloves and possibly nutmeg, but no evidence of the apple mentioned in the description, slightly sour and refreshing. Somewhat carbonated as befits the style. Dry, spicy and sightly bitter finish. Would make a good brew to enjoy while sitting in the marktplatz people watching.

I love hefe weisse and for me this is one of the best in the style. the dark amber color is unusual for this style but the flavor is not. Subtle fruit, wheat and yeast flavors with some bitter and sour notes.

Banana cake, roasted nuts aroma. Nice crispy honey cereals, decent fruitiness, clean finish. One of the most solid German weissen for sure.

bottle. Deep amber with three finger head. Lightly tart. Quite a bit of banana but virtually no clove. It’s tasty, but nowhere near the best hefes I’ve had (Franziskaner and Weihenstephaner).
