Smells very english slightly sweet with a c02 kinda smell. Pretty normal for those brews. Smell a hint of hops not much. Expecting a sweet mediun bodied brew with minimal bitterness. Its a dark copper colored hazy brew with little head. It tastes very malty medium/full bodied small bubbles and typical low bitterness for this brew. It has a caremely aftertaste. Not a bad brew a typical uk brew taste. Worth a try.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 thirstyrabbit (740) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 30, 2013
Bottle no 83207. Copper body with a tall head. Aroma has English hops and caramel. Taste is quite sweet with more caramel and fudge but the hop level keeps up with the sweetness. As half of the bottle is gone the sweetness starts becoming more apparent and takes control. This is obviously made for cellaring. I still prefer 1845 over the Vintages.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Jow (1416) - New York, USA - MAY 28, 2013
My wife grabbed this for me at supermarket along with a steak and asparagus as a way of saying your on your own tomorrow it all worked well together. Pours orange with one finger head and nose of malt and caramel although faint. Tastes of dried fruits and dried wood, caramel, plenty malty, resin, hop bitters, a little rock candy finish. Sweet on finish that Lingers.
