“Neb” is a home brew recipe that has been scaled up with no consideration to economies of scale. Some say idiotic, and as an economist I would have to agree. Get fresh or die trying.

From Brewcraft. Hazy orange-gold with watery fizzy white head and lacing. Amazing aroma - big fruity (mango, apricot, peach, lots of pineapple) hop and some bready malt. Taste is bitter, resinous, light malt and pepper. Body is light, incredibly smooth, ends on airy note. Fantastic beer, amongst the top five I've ever had.

Bottle from Craftissimo at home. Hazy golden-orange pour - very light. Aroma is powerful pine resin hops (reminiscent of big west coast IPAs) with some tropical fruit (pineapple). Really good. Taste is similarly big pine and some mango/tropical fruit - serious bitterness, but not piercing in any one way and more full and complex. Very rounded bitterness. Really good. Smooth palate, just richer than normal. Briefly lingering bitterness with some booziness. Very similar to some big Ballast Point or Stone IPAs, but a bit more balanced in types of bitterness and in maltiness. Delicious DIPA - would get again.

Written 05/02/16 on the white bottle cap. Hazy golden-amber colour with a frothy warm cap, great retention and creamy-foamy lacing. Beautiful fresh grassy hop aromas at first, with lots of citrus fruits appearing later and hints of honey. Hoppy taste, but starts off milder and get progressively more and more bitter with grapefruit peels. Notes of roasted malts shows. Again, many fruits (tropical and all) lingers in the mouth. A beauty !!

Aromat NIESAMOWITY! Białe i żółte, słodkie, tropikalne owoce (głownie lychee i mango) plus różowy grejpfrut. Wszystko tak cudownie skomponowane i intensywne, że mógłbym wąchać to piwo przez cały czas. Barwa złota, lekko mętne. Piana średnio pęcherzykowa, wysoka, po chwili opada do niskiej i trzyma się. W smaku różowy i biały grejpfrut, trochę mango, ogólnie dosyć wodniste. Nie ma tej intensywności, co w aromacie. Niezła, grejpfrutowa goryczka.

The best beer I have had in months. This is everything I hope for in an IPA, and it compares favorably to Green Flash’s Palate Wrecker and my favorite Stone Brewery offerings. Nebuchadnezzar pours a somewhat hazy tangerine color with a lot of foam. The aroma is very strong, pungent citrus. Pineapple. Lemongrass. The aroma indicates no real balance in the flavor, and the taste is blissfully, brutally bitter. There is a little bit of cereal malt on the front of the tongue, but it doesn’t last long. Sledgehammer herbal and citrus hops hit on the swallow, and the bitter twist in the finish is clean and bright. Not the first hint of the 8.5% IPA in the bouquet or on the tongue. This is as imperial as imperial gets.

Big smell from tangerines, grapefruit, pineapple and oranges. The taste is divine and this is a true hop grenade. Big, hoppy citrus/lemon grass taste with a medium body and a long bitter finish.

Bottle. Rich golden-orange pour with a white head. Bold citrus / tropical fruit, but more pungent than juicy or sweet. Sharp hop bite with a nice finish. Good stuff.

Aug ’14. A 0.33 l bottle from Systembolaget, Upplands Väsby. It poured hazy golden body with medium sized head. Really nice orange and other citrus hop aroma counterbalanced with sweet overripe tropical fruit and biscuit malt. Unfortunately, some cooked cabbage, too, no matter it was a fresh bottle. Flavor was bitter, quite hoppy but also malty a lot. Herbal and citrusy with lot of biscuit, fruity, vanilla and bread malt. Intense, its strength was absolutely felt, although not in bare raw alcoholic form, rather as warming of its full body towards the finish. Another excellent Swedish double IPA although pretentiously I might have hoped it to be at the whole next level.
