Aroma is malty and roasty with some chocolate and dark fruit notes as well as some Belgian candi sugar. Flavor is similar to the aroma with a lot of roastiness as well as some dark fruit and some of the Belgian yeast influence, and some piney hops towards the finish. Body is surprisingly light for the bold flavors and alcohol content. Has a slightly sticky mouthfeel and a long roasty/piney finish. This is dangerously drinkable for 11%. Overall this is an awesome beer with an incredible amount of flavor and alcohol that is still fairly light bodied and easy to drink.

Bottle. Poured dark reddish brown color with an average frothy tan head that lasted with excellent lacing. Medium to heavy complex dark sweet and spice aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy dark sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration with a small alcohol bite. This is a solid beer

Pours dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, orange, coriander, light chocolate, alcohol and a light apple note. Flavour is roasted malt, alcohol, dark fruit and chocolate.

Pours very dark brown with a small brown head (looks like a stout). Smells like chocolate oranges with subtle hints of pine and spruce. Taste is coriander spiciness, chocolate, hints of orange, and subtle hints of booze. Full-bodied with a slick texture and active mouth-carbonation, Mikkeller Santa’s Little Helper 2012 finishes with subtle hints of spice and sweetness.

Black with dark brown head - malts and some spices in the aroma - there is some malt sweetness, but there is olso some coffee and roasted malt with some spice in there as well - Good malty and spicy ending with some alcohol heat in the back - this was very good

Serving: 750 ml. bottle from Total Wine Sterling. It pours murky dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The nose is a little chocolaty with slight paper notes. The flavor is a little sweet with some milk chocolate, cocoa powder, plastic, light alcohol, and a touch of fruitiness. Full bodied and slightly creamy on the tongue with an almost chalky finish. Decent.

Another winner. Dark brown, creamy head, good lacing. Aroma is malty and chocolate. Flavor has lots of malt, roast and caramel; sweet up front with a bitter finish. Some yeast spice, dark fruit, nuts. Smooth and delicious.

The aroma is awesome, fruit, caramel, toffee. The appearance is like an inpy stout, bjet black, tan head. The flavor is fruit, candi sugar, brown sugar, bready. The finish is sweet, fruity, pine needles. Medium/thik to thick in body. Awesome.

Absolutely perfect for a christmas dinner. Sweet, warm autumnal flavours and very strong. Why drink wine when you can drink this?
