4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 kidmartinek (2466) - austin, Texas, USA - NOV 14, 2012Tastes like a really damn good IPA.the aroma is pretty tame but the flavor is not. This is a good stiff, hoppy beer when you want one. It stimulates the palate all over. Its floral citrusy and pale malty all over and all in equal portions and the bite is good and firm like you want it. When you want an IPA you want this one. And its made in Texas, so like anybody’s gonna beat that.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 BMan1113VR (7382) - Los Angeles, California, USA - DEC 9, 2012
On tap. Pours with a massive white head over a golden hued body. Aromas are grainy, estery, fruity, caramel, light bready. Low citrusy notes. Might be an older keg, as the hops were not extremely vibrant. Flavors are sweet with and perceived sweet fruit hop characteristics. Tropical fruit, mango. Medium to fuller bodied.

(Draught) Pours a hazy yellow body with a medium cream head. Aroma of nuts, grass, citrus, and florals. Flavor of grain, grass, citrus, and pine with a dry, bitter finish.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ansermadide (1200) - Kyle, Texas, USA - OCT 2, 2012
Lucked out again at Hopfields. This full, elegant, and deliciously decorated IPA looks a little opaque for a traditional IPA, but its color is true. It has a bright white head that ends very thin atop the beer. The aroma is so sweet that it’s almost candy-like (thanks, no doubt, in full to the hops I’m sure). Something about it almost reminds me of a combination of suntan lotion and cotton candy, but with a slight perfume character. I’m thinking vanilla has some role in this beer as well.
In the mouth, it’s pretty full and practically creamy, with all of the same characteristics that were in the nose gently running through to the palate, nudging its delicious characteristics to your attention. There’s only a slight pine note to the hops - otherwise, it’s strictly an almost tart, candy-like, earthy complex bouquet that I can’t really find the words to describe sufficiently. Easy, smooth, so sweet and almost candy-like, but still holding to an earthy, almost meaty English-style body.
