A semi-dry cider with distinctive aroma, complex taste that begins sweet and ends dry with a slight bitterness. A chance seedling ("pippin") first grown in 1730 in present-day Queens, New York.
Unfiltered, contains sulphites.

On tap at Dive Bar on 96th. 6.5%abv vs. 7% in ghost bottles.
Wine glass. Assuredly unfiltered. Looks hearty. :) Ginger sort of color. Surprising inch of whitewashed head that sticks around for a bit.
Super melon-y, orang-y, rounded citrus smell.
Juicy, bittersweet apples, leaning towards sweet. Touch of funk. Light tartness. Subtle powdered sugar sweetness. Bitter orange & melon. Sturdy acidic backbone. Doughy finish. Integrated alcohol. Seems like they used a wit yeast. If so, I’ve had several shitty examples, & this one is not that.
Creamy, chewy, delicious. Awesome.
