Orange color, cloudy with no head. Aroma of pine, honey, passion fruit, bananas, pineapple. Taste is light sweet and massive bitterness (well balanced) throw the end, quite amazing actually. Light body , slick texture, soft carbonation. Wow this was great.

Kauge (348) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 6, 2014
Bottle from Stockmann in Tallinn ( 3,95) in Oct 2014. Love the label. The beer pours a very (!) murky orange with a huge bubbly creamy head that laces and retains nicely. Call me a freak but I like how it looks. Nose is... oh wow... Ive had it many times before but it always manages to hit a nerve... Its potent with rich sea-buckthorn juice and sharp bitterness of juniper berries; its spicy, resinous, piney, bittersweet, biscuity... Taste is similar: beginning with succulent fruitiness, the harsh bitterness of juniper and sea-buckthorn takes over in a matter of milliseconds, bewildering the palate with the most thick and sticky hurricane of spiciness, numbing it just enough to make one reluctantly wish for another sip of this wild beast of a beer. Its got a medium to full body, medium minus carbonation, and, as said, a sticky mouthfeel and a very long, bitingly bitter finish.

I fckn adore such freaks.

Must note that I also adore sea-buckthorn juice.

daje (2609) - NORWAY - SEP 1, 2014
Bottle at The Bishops Arms Gamla Stan, april 17th 2014. Cloudy orange body with floating particles and a minimal white head. Aroma of flowers, juniper, yeast. Taste is light funky, fruity, herbal, a little metallic offtaste. Nice hoppy finish. An interesting take, though I find it a bit too unbalanced, and if possible, avoid looking at the beer.

Bottle. Cloudy amber, murky, not much of a head. Not a great start. Odd aroma of citrus, yeast, juniper and something more earthy. Bitter flavour, some caramel, yeast, earthy. Odd but kind of nice.

ivorywhite head that fades fast. orange murky colour. aroma salty, tangerines, oranges. taste like aroma, zeste, aftertaste is very wry and bitter. too much for me to handle. medium body and carbonation. unlike any other ipa, but not my cup of beer. bottle 33 cl / bbf oct-2014

marcus (6773) - Sacramento, California, USA - AUG 3, 2014
Bottle at Mikkeller Bar. Pours murky orange blonde with a bubbly beige head and a funky fruit and malt aroma. There is a complex flavor that includes pale malt, bitter herbs, juniper and a large yeast presence. Not for everyone, but the uniqueness is appealing to me.

Aroma of mango and bitter hops. Taste is pine, caramel and guave. Bitter aftertaste, too bitter infact. Unbalanced, and not enough body for my taste. Still drinkable.

Tap@prgu. Orange, superhazy. Hoppy citrus, sour berry nose. Caramels, med bodied, bitter. Very sour berry bitter ipa. Interesting, nice. Theres some tartness there that makes this beer. Lots of flavours, hoppy. Bitter.
