low carbo ( drinkable) very sticky, thick mouthfeel. buttery , bourbon ( the first time i actualy like this in a beer ! what bourbon did they use? if anyone knows, pm me please ! ) vanilla, some nuts, burnt malts, waaw, its the first time even i can get so much outof a beer ! damn ! definetly waawedf !
even the alcohol is rather abcent in the taste, given its abv. its mote drinkable than duvel ! :p

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
2013 bottle. Pours dark cola brown with creamy beige head. Aroma is extremely rich cookie malts, booze, oak, vanilla, nuttiness, and dark fruit notes. Flavor is extremely rich and malty with heavy booze and barrel character, and tons of caramel sweetness. Full body and soft carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Backlogged rating, Bottle Share: Yepper, looks just like all the Black Tuesday variants, jet black with small head head and oily tears. Right away the nose tells you this one is a tad different, heavy roasted hazelnut espresso and bittersweet mocha. A fair amount of dark fruits, charred barrel, vanilla, molasses and sherry like oxidation create a nice flavor profile. Maybe cause I had this one last it was seemingly a tad easier to finish... or I am getting buzzed and don’t care anymore. Ahead of Chocolate Rain and Mocha Wednesday but just a nip below the base Tuesday.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ RBBWG 2015. Thanks Elmanana! Oily texture, almost no foam. Flat carbonation. Light roastiness, vanilla, bourbon, molasses, caramel and hazlenuts. Very sweet and boozy. Sticky. Ok, but not my favourite imperial stout.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Thanks to ElManana + 1! 750 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG IV. Waxed with vanilla-scented wax, interesting, a bit Spinal Tap. Black with no head. Nose is umami, soy sauce, lots of it & quite boozy. Taste is boozy soy sauce, mocha, vanilla, light herbs, thick bourbon, barely picking up hazelnut here, thick malts, sugar. Very simple, I was hoping for more here & a beer this strong probably should have more complexity. Very boozy & little in the way of carbonation. This is no Chocolate Rain for sure, it is slightly better than Black Tuesday.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle @ RBBWG 2015 shared by elmanana. Opaque pitch black color, very small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, huge bourbon, huge alcohol, and alcohol. And alcohol. So that says it all.

Bottle at RBBWG. Pours black, dark brown with no head. Aroma doesn't give me high hopes. Lots of alcohol, some chocolate, malts. Nice chocolate, hazlenut, nuttela. Awesome but too boozy to drink lots of.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Had this and Mocha Wednesday on the same day with friends.
Pours dark with very short lived head.
Smells delicious, lots of vanilla, a little hazelnut, you can tell it will be very sweet.
Boozy flavor, not a lot of nuts but plenty of the regular BT taste in there.
Great beer but it´s way too big, 125ml bottles would be so much easier.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at home with my dad. Pour is deep brown with a small tan head and good lacing. Sweet nutty aroma - vanilla, light cocoa, bourbon coconut, some wood notes and a hint of spice. Taste is big coconut, sweet vanilla, some toffee, caramelized sugars, brown sugar, nutty, cocoa nibs and light soy with a hint of alcohol on the finish. Slick mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Sweet, yet decently balanced with booze. Still a little over the top for me.

Bottle share. 09/24/13. Great legs on the glass. Aroma of liquid brown, maple, sweet coffee and slight amount of dark chocolate. So sweet, but so sweet. Crazy smooth, and surprisingly easy to drink. Liquid ice cream.
