On tap. Clear reddish with no head. Aroma pleasant if unexciting, caramel, slightly fruity. Medium full body, a little syrupy but not overwhelmingly so. Would not have thought 11% alcohol. Malty caramel flavors with background of red fruits, spices. A pleasant drinking experience.

Cherry maple pour with medium head. Nose was very Belgian Dubbel like but a little more fruity. Taste was sweet and went very well with the spicy sushi I was eating at the time. Not bad.

Purchased fron the Northgate Meijer’s in Colerain, Ohio - Alright, it’s the nifty splashy illustrations and crsft packaging that really attracted me to this brew! Alright, this one poured an auburn hued brew with a fast fading, fine bubbled off-white head with sweet peach pit aroma. Tastewise, this is an odd one... with evident cherry and hops presence and sweet grainy finish.

On Tap at MacGregors. This finished me off for the night. Rich amber color. Medium slightly creamy body. Aroma of sweet malt, fruit, caramel, & spice. Flavor of sweet malt, caramel, fruit (notably cherries), some honey, and spice. Boozy finish; Fairly well balanced.

Bottle. Luden’s Cough Drops. In the aroma and taste, I didn’t pick up any of the honey or chocolate malts advertised on the bottle. The only thing coming out of this bottle was cherries. The aroma and taste both were indicative of a Luden’s Cough Drop, you know, the kind you ate like candy as a kid when you were sick. The palate was a medium bodied, sticky texture, and the appearance was a cherry tinged tan with a small head that diminished quickly. If you dig Luden’s, drink this. Otherwise, stay clear.

Bomber. Pours a copper/amber color with a thin white head. A very distinct Belgian taste with quite a bit of sweetness, nothing special though & not much on the finish.

Pours a very clear amber with ruby hues and a medium tan head. Aroma is slightly boozy witn notable cherry and hints of spice. Flavor is malty with fruitiness...cherry...mild spice and booziness...a bit earthy. Mouthfeel seems light and a bit thin...finish is warming and fruity.
