Strong cherries and honey in the aroma... although not an entirely pleasant aroma. Looks great - bright red with a thick white head. Taste is kind of awkward. Although unique and flavorful, full of cherries, honey, and rich malts.. the taste is just not that enjoyable. I think its the combination of strong cherry and honey flavors that don’t sit well with me. I can see how some people might like it, but it’s not for me.

22 oz botte. Pours a dark ruby red with a 1/2" off white head. Light cherry aroma with chocolate malt notes. Palate is moderate to heavy with a good amount of carbonation. Just a bit of cherry tartness on the tongue. Taste is a sweet mix of cherry, honey, brown sugar and chocolate. The alcohol raises its head a little as the brew warms, but not enough to detract from the other flavors. Delicious holiday brew.

bottle, thanks dad, pours a dark carmel with a medium off white head. Nice yeasty aroma with notes of cherry and candy sugar. Sweet toasty malt with lots of sour cherry and clove with a dandelion kind of aftertaste. Really nice with the 11 percent very well conceiled. Very nice job Troegs!

Pours a bright, red colour that’s semi cloudy and well carbonated. Quick rising head, bit quickly decreasing as well. Aroma is sweet, wheaty cherries and alcohol is noticeabel right away. Taste is really spritzy and sweet, and again some hotness from the 11%. fruity and semi sweet. Pretty good beer actually. Perfect balance of fruits and spices.

Boozy fruit aroma. Flavor is definitely sweet, but pleasantly so, with hints of red fruit and cranberries.

Amber-red color with a medium sized off white head. Aroma of honey, cinnamon and Belgian yeast. Sweet malts, cherries, honey and some underlying spiciness. Light tartness and some subtle yeast esters. Some cocoa comes through in the finish.
